It connects wirelessly to the computer with a port hidden inside of the mouse. Although the computer requires a usb c connection I could only find a mouse with a usb. Sales person recommended a B to C connector and voila! The mouse responds quickly and is more accurate than fooling with a trackpad.

Response of movement is instant. This is the first time that I've used a wireless mouse. The absence of a wire getting caught on something and limiting movement on the desktop is a great value to me.
