It's interesting how often the packaging can be the most challenging part of getting a new peripheral set up, but it's great that the installation process itself was so simple for you. This straightforward setup is definitely a key appeal of many Logitech mice.

This is our second one in this model. We like it because it does not scroll too fast or move too fast when sliding it great value for the money at $15 or less.
