It connects wirelessly to the computer with a port hidden inside of the mouse. Although the computer requires a usb c connection I could only find a mouse with a usb. Sales person recommended a B to C connector and voila! The mouse responds quickly and is more accurate than fooling with a trackpad.

It comes with a battery inside and the usb is stored in the mouse as well. I plugged the usb in my laptop turned the in switch on and was all set. I'd recommend this item to my friends.

Long battery life

It is fast and it works well, which is really all I need from a mouse. It also has a really good battery life. I bought it a little over a year ago and the battery that came with it is still going.
