It comes with a battery inside and the usb is stored in the mouse as well. I plugged the usb in my laptop turned the in switch on and was all set. I'd recommend this item to my friends.

Long battery life

It is fast and it works well, which is really all I need from a mouse. It also has a really good battery life. I bought it a little over a year ago and the battery that came with it is still going.

Great Mouse for the price

(older laptop) Smooth scrolling, precision is better than I hoped for a less expensive mouse. I will recommend this low cost alternative to friends..

Great wireless mouse

It connected to the computer with no problems. It also comes with batteries which is a plus. She loves it because it is purple and easy to use.

Great mouse for on the go

The only time I have had any issues with them is when I dropped my first one and the battery door broke. I had dropped it many times before, however the final drop was from about 3 1/2' onto concrete driveway.

It's my go-to mouse, and I always keep an extra one on hand. It fits my hand perfectly, the scroll wheel works great, and it glides smoothly on my mouse pad. With the on/off switch located on the bottom, you will be able to increase the life of your batteries. And while it is a little smaller than I might have liked, I would still purchase this same mouse again.
