Just plug it into any usb except the "lightning" stuff. Your computer will pick up an interface that runs OR you could use Logitech software. REMEMBER: you are saving batteries, and thus, the further poisening of our earth/landfills. Voila

I haven't upgraded this laptop in years, and needed a hardwired mouse. The mousepad HAD to be set for the double click option, or it would open any and everything the cursor hovered over online. It drove me nuts. I plugged the Logitech M500 into the USB port and it worked right away. No fuss! Love it! Now I have the laptop set for single click and all is well. It's a comfortable mouse at a great price. Thanks Best Buy!

But I'm always happy with Logitech products. Feels great in my hand and does all the functions I need, especially that back button.
