It’s not what I expected.

Will not buy it again , will not recommend it to anyone. I throwaway my receipt and case, that’s why I’m stock with it. I would have returned it. It’s just sitting there useless.

Disappointing Performance

The select button is very inconsistent when activating a selected action or link. It requires multiple selections before a link is activated at times. When scrolling with the roller, the screen continues to move slowly up or down after release. I've also found several links I've used in the past which will not activate with this mouse. Very disappointed with this product.

Posted .Hi Bob1, So sorry about your disappointment with the M510 Wireless Laser Mouse. It sounds like you may be having a connection problem which is a result of where you've got the USB receiver plugged in which is causing interference with the RF signal. You should have it plugged directly into your computer, not a USB hub. If it is plugged directly into your computer desktop, be sure that it isn't on a port that is in the back of the tower. The new software for this does not work.

The existing software (Setpoint) that I was using does not work with the new mouse. The new software that I downloaded (Options) will not allow me to set programmable keys for any application. I was on the phone with a tech to try and figure out the problem, with no success. I will be looking for another brand of mouse to use.

I know that there's been an update for the Options software in the last couple of months that allows for more customization. No better than the one I was told may be faulty

Had my lap top checked and was told problem was probably my mouse. I purchased the Logitech M510 that was recommended by Best Buy associate but it works no better that my old one.

Sometimes it doesn't seem to read on mousepad

So then you switch to using it on the table or desk until it can read again. Sometimes it can be very frustrating. It's an OK mouse for limited work

Don’t waste your money

Posted .Hello Darryll. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and concerns with the M510 mouse. I'm sorry to hear that the mouse has died on you after only a few weeks of use. I'm assuming you already tried new batteries, toggled the power switch, and moved the USB receiver to a different USB port? Bigger then I expected for a protable mouse
