This is the mouse I was looking for my laptop. And it works on any surface.

This is a very good mouse for the price. It reads the motion of whatever surface I happen to be working on including my hospital bed sheets. I used it while recuperating and didn’t miss a beat.

I purchased this mouse to replace a corded mouse for my laptop and was looking for something inexpensive. This cordless mouse offers me a large body size which is comfortable for my large hands. The tracking is also very good and the mouse glides over my pad with little effort. It doesn't have recharge capacity so you have to swap out the drained batteries for fresh one when the indicator tells you that they are low. It does exactly what I was looking for and it was very affordable.
