I have win 8, plugged it in, it works. it is very fast and accurate. it has an on/off switch and can save battery life. It has a great feel in the hand and very smooth movement on my desk.

Logitech Mouse is great. Fits very comfortably in the hand and has the whistles and bells that I use. The price was great also.
