This review is for the returning M510 users out there. If you've owned this mouse, you should know that that Logitech has changed the design a little bit. Along with their new logo, the new "2nd Edition" M510 (missed opportunity by not calling it M510 or something) now also sports a "laser-grade" optical sensor, as opposed to the old "actual laser" sensor. After doing a deep dive for some information, the internet scholars on a couple first-page forums have confirmed a few facts for me. First, the optical sensor is not necessarily a downgrade. Laser sensors have inherent issues - some complaints on the old 510 were that it exhibited cursor stutters, jitters, and shakes - and the modified design is likely to address those concerns. That being said, laser sensors have higher a DPI resolution, which should mean that they are more precise. Conventional wisdom might make you hesitant to purchase this new M510S (my nickname for it). Why would the 'newer' model have LESS DPI's? What an outrage!

I have rather large hands and this mouse fits them well. I also like the buttons on the side.

I really don’t have any complaints about this mouse or how it performs. It literally does what it is supposed to do; no more or less. I do wish a I’d spent a few more dollars and opted for the model with the forward and back buttons on the side.

Has worked well and is reliable. Nice to have an option to the touch pad. install the SW and you can configure the extra buttons to fit your needs.

I really love the way this mouse fits in your hand. I have large hands and most mice that come with kb and mouse together I notice are too small to fit nicely in my palm. This one however is comfortable to use and navigate with. Replaced an older laser mouse that had run its course and it just works. Very happy w my purchase!

This model fits the hand better than most and the tracking wheel works better than any of the others I’ve used
