I bought this mouse for casual desktop use (office apps, browsing, etc.) after an older one failed. I was looking for an inexpensive mouse that wasn't too large and that had back/forward thumb buttons on the side. As a bonus, this one uses Logitech's Unifying Receiver, so you can use the same receiver for other Logitech wireless peripherals like keyboards. Good value for casual use. Haven't owned it long enough to say how the battery life is, but I like that there's a physical on/off switch on the bottom so you can conserve power if you're going to travel with it or won't be using it for a while.

What can I say, it’s a mouse! Functions well with the computer. The mouse is big enough for those with medium to larger hands. Some I have used in the past are way too small and are uncomfortable to use. This is the perfect size mouse and I own two of them. Simply priced as well.

I have been enjoying using my mouse. I am a little older so all electronics gadgets annoy and come. I admit I should have known this was simple but I allowed myself to go without a mouse because I thought it would be too confusing to pick the right one. The joke was on me!!

Best mouse for the money !!

This is by far the best wireless mouse for the money. The Logitech M510 Wireless Mouse is an excellent mouse for anyone and everyone. Is has a nice, tactile scroll wheel and L/R buttons. It includes thumb buttons, which is why I consider it a gaming compatible mouse, but those are also handy for internet browsing and other programs as well. The mouse tracks really well and it has not once lost connection to the USB receiver. It feels relatively heavy, making it stable on my mouse pad and allows extra precision - as well as just giving it a quality feel. It is not too large nor too small - it really is just the right size and would fit any sized hand very comfortably. The M510 is also rated for up to 24 months of battery life with 2AA batteries which is absolutely amazing (and it includes 2 Duracell batteries!). Windows 10 detected the mouse immediately and installed the appropriate drivers - this is plug and play, no issues. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, trusted brand, quality mouse. There is simply nothing out there that can match this price for what you get.

Very comfortable in my hand, very smooth operation on any surface I’ve tried, no issues with battery life, I haven’t had to change it and have been using it 10 hours a day or more. Would Definitely buy again.

I had been having trouble with the wireless mouse my company gave me. It would work intermittently or not at all. I try an off brand mouse from Frye that supposedly did not require a USB Bluetooth sensor, but had it internally. This one never work. I than camever across this product at the store. Since it was a big name brand I gave it a shot. Simple put I didn't have to do anything but insert the USB antenna and the rest was taken care of. It synced and I havent had any problems with it getting disconnect or anything. Plus it came with its own battery which is suppose to last until the next version o windows comes out. Great Product.

I was in the market for a wireless portable mouse for my work laptop and the m510 has fit my needs. It's light weight, fits in my laptop bag and is easy to plug and play into other devices with the unifying adapter. Unlike some laptop mice this one has back and forward buttons along which is a plus in my book! Hoping the battery life is what it claims. 24 months on 2 AAs will be amazing. I was disappointed to see some battery wear upon first activating the mouse. So I'm guessing I'll be replacing original batteries sooner than 24 months.

I like this mouse a lot! It works well and has several nice features. It has software you can download from Logitech for smooth scrolling and push button fast scrolling. The battery life is supposed to be two years. Which I do appreciate because my other gaming mouse had a rechargeable battery that needed charging everyday. This mouse does take two batteries though. I like the size, medium is the size I would give it. Fits very nicely in my rather large hand. It is very accurate with movement as well and the mouse moves easily.

I have purchased 3 of these and keep coming back. These days wireless is a must for your desktop to help keep things orderly. This wireless mouse is great because of the long battery life and the great fit in my hand. I have a medium sized and and it works great for me. The center wheel has a small bumpy feel to it when you roll it which helps you gauge how much scrolling you do. I do also use this with my laptop and the fact that there is a little storage spot on the bottom for the USB interface is great. I highly recommend this economical mouse to anyone!

This is the second mouse of this type that I've owned. The first met an unfortunate end after falling off my coffee table and landing upside down on my hardwood floor. After that it never worked again, so let that be a lesson to you that, while these mice are comfortable they certainly can't take a hit. All in all, for the price you pay for it, as long as you don't need something "advanced" you'll be fine with this one.

Works great! Love that’s it’s a larger mouse and it a really small one. Very comfortable. Only downside is that I have to use a usb adaptor with my Apple air laptops and sometimes the side buttons and roller don’t work but I haven’t figured out if that is due to mouse or adapter.

I have used a wired mouse FOREVER, so recently, when I purchased an additional monitor (for dual monitor use with my desktop computer), I decided to splurge for a wireless mouse. I am very glad I did. No more fighting with too short of a chord, and it works effortlessly on any surface. So far, no issues, it glides smoothly, very comfortable in my hand and it was easy as plug and play to start using. Very pleased I purchased this mouse.

Though at home I now mostly rely on a logitech trackball instead of standard mouse to minimize wrist fatigue, I'd used this model of mouse since before purchasing this unit as a fresh replacement. The particular unit here is kept mostly as an alternate now but were it not for wrist fatigue over long use with any mouse would still be the only one. Using a Logitech unifying receiver gives it and all other supported devices the flexibility to be paired at will. This comes in handy if a receiver is lost (Logitech sells replacement receivers for $10 apiece as of the one time I had to avail of that option). Otherwise the mouse itself is all around solid, with good laser tracking and battery life of some months with a pair of AA batteries (varying on use and extendable with the use of the off switch on the underside when not in use). The grip is symmetrical and comfortable with rubberized thumb guides on either side. Additional buttons aside from the basic R/L click aren't ambidextrous though as the forward/back buttons are only on the RH side in easy reach of the right thumb used right-handed.
