If you have other Logitech mice or keyboards, the M510 uses and comes with a Unifying Receiver so you can connect up to 6 devices to a single USB.

Logitech Loser

The movement is very jerky at best. I bought two and they both had the same issue. I tried the mouse on a hard surface and a mouse pad, no difference. I would not recommend this mouse at all.
