Big and bulky; went back to my old one. Does have the extra buttons if you are looking for that. Also, be sure you have a USB port available as this still needs one.

After a month of use I find this mouse frustration to use on many occasions. The select button is very inconsistent when activating a selected action or link. It requires multiple selections before a link is activated at times. When scrolling with the roller, the screen continues to move slowly up or down after release. I've also found several links I've used in the past which will not activate with this mouse. Very disappointed with this product.

I had problems when trying to scroll up or down web sites. Had my lap top checked and was told problem was probably my mouse. I purchased the Logitech M510 that was recommended by Best Buy associate but it works no better that my old one.

I bought this to replace another mouse of the same model because it had programmable keys that I use for Autocad. The existing software (Setpoint) that I was using does not work with the new mouse. The new software that I downloaded (Options) will not allow me to set programmable keys for any application. I was on the phone with a tech to try and figure out the problem, with no success. I will be looking for another brand of mouse to use.

I bought this mouse in January 2010 and it works great! It takes forever for it to consume all of the batteries' power. I only have to change the batteries every 5-6 months and I use this mouse all day. The best thing about this mouse is that it has a sleep mode so that when it is left idle it will basically turn off and has no problem turning back on once you move it (almost like it never went into sleep mode). This mouse is extremely durable, I have dropped this mouse on hard floor many times and it has yet to break. When the battery gets low the light next to the wheel will turn red, but even when that happens it will still work for a couple more weeks. The mouse is good for desktops and laptops.

This mouse is great, I've purchased these as gifts for both of my parents and my Aunt and they all love it. The setup of it is pretty simple; basic use is just plug-and-play, but the Logitech software gives you a little more control over the buttons' functions. Battery life is also extremely good. My Dad has one that's about 4-5 years old (may be the model prior to this, but looks the same) and he's only had to change the batteries in it a few times (I think he does it once a year whether they need it or not). It's still fairly comfortable for an unbiased grip style, though I would prefer if they had the left/right-hand bias grips in this price range as they would be just a little bit more comfortable, like my MX Revolution. Overall, a great mouse at a great price!

I don't know what happened to roller but it stopped working after very little use.i love Logitech products so I exchanged it for a m705. must have gotten the bad one because ive never had problems with Logitech before

Sometimes the mouse has a hard time reading a mouse pad. So then you switch to using it on the table or desk until it can read again. Sometimes it can be very frustrating. It's an OK mouse for limited work

I got this with the best buy gift card that I had and it was on sale because of Cyber Monday and I am loving this mouse. I have a big hand so it fits me perfectly and the small USB that doesn't need to be taken out when I am carrying my laptop around is just great. I was never a fan of wireless mouse because I had one awhile back and it was just terrible. Terrible signal, the battery ran out too fast and it stopped working after awhile. I love this mouse because it goes to "sleep" if I am not using it for a while in order to conserve batteries and I haven't had a single problem with it. The back and forward button on the sides are always a plus and the fact that I have one less wires to carry is great. I recommend this mouse to everyone!

Small but good. I bought this to replace my old one and I didn’t realize that the new one was smaller. Same style, just smaller. Go for the bigger one!

Unit worked well for about a year. Left mouse button has become defective and the Logitech warranty service is less than stellar.

I could never get this to work. Waste of money. And now I have to go out and buy another one. I am disappointed.

This mouse is great for general purposes. It's comfortable, functional, and durable. I've had it for about 5 years and I've dropped it several times, but it still works fine. You have all the buttons you need, and the receiver is small enough that you can leave it in the port and not have to worry about it getting in the way of anything. If you do want to travel with your mouse, there is a nice little storage port for the receiver so that you don't lose it in transit. If you also buy a Logitech keyboard, you can use the receiver for the keyboard as well so that you don't have to take up additional USB ports. Battery life is great. Great product.

Worked nice when it worked but kept locking up. Could not return to store had to contact Logitech. But they have be great and should have it replaced in another week or so.

You deliberately misrepresented shipping promise & now I have paid for nothing people should know how shabby. A store you are—-your rep lied (Didn’t do his job) And I’m out the promised TV. Your Rep ( Name of PIN) only wanted the sale Yea Today I waited a for.a delivery you knew when wasn’t going to happen. ZERO service & I’m left in tears

I have had great luck with other models of Logitech mice but this higher priced one worked for less than a day and died.

Nice but returned for system conflict which should not occur but an older version of Window caused error messages. Have no present plans to spend the money to upgrade to Windows 10.

Good product when I first purchased but after a while its performance went down hill to the point that it had to be replaced.

This mouse just totally died on me a few weeks after I bought it. Wont turn on.

After trying out several mice at BestBuy I decided to get the Logitech M510 due to it's ergonomic design. I found the smaller mice hard to hold even for a few seconds. The overall design and feel are great. Connection took seconds! I tried out the downloadable software but found the default button configuration satisfactory on Windows 7. I also like the Logitech Unifying receiver capability so that I would not need to use an additional USB port if I use another compatible device.
