    Best Mouse EVER!

I normally don’t write reviews of products, I just rate them, but this mouse I HAD to do a write up for. I never thought a mouse could make this much of an impact. First let me say that if you are getting this mouse for use with any Microsoft product (i.e. word, outlook, excel, etc) then you need to configure the buttons separately for those applications. Out of the box I set up my mouse to use the customizable buttons to copy and paste. It worked like a dream with everything except Microsoft Apps. But then I discovered the menu to customize the buttons for those apps and everything was good to go. Additionally I discovered probably the most impressive feature of this mouse: Application Switcher! For you Mac users out there this is basically the equivalent of Expose. For those of you that don’t know what this is, basically you just press a button on your mouse and it shrinks all the open windows you have and presents them all on the screen, and then you just click on the window you need and it brings it to the forefront. Amazing time saver! Windows 7 tried to do something similar with the “Snap” feature … but this completely blows that out of the water. If you are in need of a mouse with customizable buttons and GREAT features … look no further. Thanks Logitech!

The benefit is to Logitech, not users, from having a different standard that requires a separate USB dongle.

Hello, I am so sorry if there was any confusion regarding the size of the mouse. We do have some smaller mice if you would like some suggestions: the mx anywhere 3, m325, m310 and m185. I hope this helps! Thank you for taking the time to write this review, we appreciate the feedback.

When trying to pair, it introduced some instructions to my Cyberpower PC that would not let it pair. Geek techs couldn't fix the problem so I had to buy a microsoft wired mouse since no other wireless will now work with my computer

Love it! Plugged it in and installation is a breeze plus was able to add keyboard to same wireless connection. Goes well with the Logitech Wireless Keyboard K250. Love the feel too. Fits great. Buttons positioned just right to make using a wonderful experience. Wireless receiver needs to be close to mouse for best use but by using front port there is no problem. Thank You Best Buy and Thank You Logitech! A+++

A total piece of crap that started malfunctioning less than two months after buying. Stay away from Logitech, they all have a double click problem and refuse to fix it.

Hello Bobster! I'm sorry to hear you're running into a double click issue with the M510 mouse! I would recommend reaching out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393 to file a warranty claim. In the mean time, here are some thing you can try! Press Windows + R, type “control” in the dialogue box and press Enter. Once in the control panel, select Large icons present at the top-right side of the screen. Now select the option Mouse. Now move the slider of double-click speed to the very lowest. Now check if your issue is resolved. If you still face the double-click scenario, you can try checking another setting. Press Windows + S, type “single click” in the dialogue box and open the control panel option Specify single-or double double-click to open which returns in the results. Navigate to the General tab and underneath the heading of Click item as follows, check the option Double-click to open an item (single click to select). Press Apply to save changes and exit. Now restart your computer properly and check if the issue resolved. The other reason your mouse may be double clicking is due to static charge. To check for this, turn off the mouse and remove the batteries from it. Now repeatedly press the two buttons on the mouse for around 30 seconds to 1 minute. Plug everything back in and check if the issue is resolved. The last thing it could be is the drivers. Press Windows + R, type “devmgmt.msc” in the dialogue box and press Enter. Once in the device manager, expand the category of “Mice and other pointing devices”, locate your mouse, right-click on it and select Uninstall device. After uninstalling, unplug your mouse. Take out the batteries and wait for a few minutes before plugging everything back in. Now you can either navigate to Logitech’s official website to download the drivers from there or let Windows update get the drivers for you automatically. Check if this solves the issue. Thank you for this feedback! I will be passing this along! - Maggie from Logitech
