    Wireless "UNIFYING RECIVER" Mouse

I wanted to use one wireless receiver with my new Logitech Solar 750 wireless keyboard. As a mouse is not included as with the combo models. I called Logitech support and was given the Logitech Unifing receiver mouse models that would work with my keyboard I picked the 510. What the support person failed to tell me and no where in the instructions with keyboard or mouse, does it inform one that software is needed. This software can be found at logitech support on line. download drivers and system check. After you get the needed software installed on your computer. Their wizard will guide you through the needed inputs to get just one plug in receiver for your system. This is really good for laptops with few USB ports. This Logitech 510 mouse has great feel and works very well, downloaded software give one many options to use with the mouse. I would also like to recommend the new Logitech Solar 750 keyboard it's slim and has a great key feel, it also comes with a backup battery if needed.

    Great everyday mouse

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This mouse is best described as an average, everyday mouse. It's not designed for gaming and therefore I don't recommend you use it for gaming. I use mine with my laptop, because I hate using a trackpad, and the mouse works fine for browsing the internet or using a word processor. Like most wireless mice, if the mouse isn't used every seconds, it falls asleep and there is a bit of lag from when you physically move the mouse until the cursor on the screen reacts. Obviously, if all you're doing is goofing off on Facebook or typing a paper, then the sleep mode is a good thing. If, however, you need a mouse that is always alert and never falls asleep, then this mouse isn't for you.

I thoroughly enjoy using my M510. I liked it so much the first time I had one I bought another. With it being on sale it made ti that much more of a smart choice. It is very easy to use, fits right in the palm of your hand and all.

    Great For Office Use

I waited for this mouse to be on sale. I would never pay full price for this mouse. Considering I got this mouse for $15 I think it is a great general office mouse. This mouse would not be good for web design, gaming, or anything where precision is needed. If you turn mouse speed up too high the pointer will start pixel jumping which I found frustrating. I do prefer this mouse over the cheap mice you get with hp or dell. The M510 has a nice feel, and fits the hand well.

This is overall a fantastic mouse. Nothing fancy, not basic. It just works. I have had the M10 for 10 years now, used on several PC's, have also taken it from office to office. As of now I am using it in the office and everything about it still works! battery life is incredible, I normally only have to change it once a year during heavy usage. The size to me is just right. Not massive, not tiny. It is the size that you would expect out of your traditional universal mouse. Overall I am very pleased with it. I purchased a triathlon M710 mouse at home which only lasted 3 years until it would not even turn on anymore.

This thing took a dump on me 2 weeks after I bought it. Fortunately the Logitech wireless keyboard we bought came with a mouse so we're using that now. We bought the other one because it was red. Stay away from the red ones! :)

The mouse could not change to a higher speed. There are adjustments, but, it would only go slower. Pick it up, put it down, repeat. My M315 mouse speeds up perfectly, I reverted back to using it.

    Decent mouse

This mouse is an all around good mouse to use for the average computer user, and for gamers who perhaps don't have the need for a billion buttons like so many mice have these days. I think some of the pluses of this mouse is that the batteries last forever I use lithium batteries and I haven't had to change a pair in over four months and that is with heavy every day use. It looks kind of cheep but it is a solid light mouse that scrolls smooth and fast on any surface and the grips on the side are nice and smooth and don't attract grime and dirt as easily as some other grips. The only real cons that I can think of is that its to small for me and I don't really have a large hand either and that the design could be better, the left side where your thumb goes is nearly perfect with comfort and button position but the right side is just like the left side and causes an uncomftorble concave feeling so for people who like to palm the mouse like I do it isn't a very good designed mouse in that retrospect. Really, I guess i'm overall really happy with the mouse I didn't buy it ironicly I got it for free when I got my new ergonomic keyboard and never planned on using it till my kingston comfort style mouse died on me, ever since then i've been using this one for over a year now and just haven't been able to make up my mind on what new mouse I want yet. So over all i'll say that this is a very decent mouse for a decent price if your a person with small hands and don't palm your hand to mice then this is very likely a good mouse for you if you are a very heavy mouse user playing MMO's and other video games I really wouldn't recommend getting this mouse as there is better out there that is better designed for like 20 bucks more.

My previous Logitech mouse was lost in a move. I purchased this replacement and it is not working. I have the receipt and will need to return it. I like Best Buy so it is more of a hassle factor. Stuff happens.

The size of the mouse is good and I like the back and forward buttons on the side, but the signal is erratic. It connects and disconnects so often that it makes it hard to work with.

Fast shipping and good service from BBY, but product is too heavy and big - need to go to a store to get a smaller and light version.

I do not like corded mice nor do I like the touchpads on laptops. This is a perfect solution. I have 2 of them now and they are all I need. Battery life is excellent as I have had one of these for almost 6 months and haven't changed the battery yet.
