I bought 2 of them during BlackFriday deals, got it for 14 bucks per mouse and considering that this was one of best deals for this mouse which usually hovers in price at 24-29. The performance is good, nice rubberised grip and this has good battery life. I also had bought m310 which were with designs and all but if we compare this one is far far better. Wonderful deal and wonderful mouse.. Thanks to Bestbuy!

I bought this mouse as a replacement for an hp mouse that used batteries so quickly. This one has been going strong with the original batteries for a long time despite a lot of use. The performance is very good and the comfort is nice and ergonomic for extended use.

Nice nifty wireless keyboard for the home user. I use it while the laptop is hooked up to the HDTV. Only problem I have with the keyboard is that the arrow keys are very small and needs getting used to. Other then that, the keyboard was great for the price.

    Great general purpose mouse

This is a solid mouse for general use. The two thumb buttons are very handy and it will also scroll side to side. This mouse uses Logitech's unifying receiver so you can connect up to 6 devices to a single dongle. I later got the K270 and it paired with the receiver from the mouse with no issues. The Logitech set point software works for both devices and has a nice interface for configuring them. This mouse even supports per application custom functions, which greatly increases its usefulness. Overall this mouse has a good feel and for the price useful buttons and customization options. I wouldn't recommend it for serious gaming, but for casual gaming and general use it is an excellent option.

It is great quality full size mouse. I strongly recommend it to buy! It is laser mouse. I think it is much better than optical mouse. Works on all surfaces I tested. Very reliable. Do not require to change batteries for a long time.

It is a good mouse for the price. It works well and the batt hasn't died yet despite leaving it on several nights. It has a thumb button that is too easy to hit resulting in the brouser going back a page when surfing. Otherwise, good mouse.

I bought the Logitech M510 to replace my old and weary MS Intellimouse Explorer. Simply stated - a fantastic mouse. A comfortable easy to use mouse at a great price! No complaints at all. Love the rubber grip and conventional mouse feel.

Off Centered Optical Reader Is a Pain!

I bought this because of a discount they had going on. Honestly, i shouldn't be complaining because i bought this for close to $10. However, that's not the original price, so i'm looking at it as if i purchased it full price. This is a pretty basic mouse so there isn't much to expect. Navigation buttons work well and mouse is noisy. However, my biggest pet peeve with this mouse is the off centered optical reader. I'm not sure more people aren't complaining about this but i thought i would mention it. Now, it's not critical of a problem but still an annoyance because you sometimes gets the sense that it's not precise. Besides that, it works fine.

I've been using an IntelliMouse Optical years and years. Decided to go wireless. Bought this because its ambidextrous like my old mouse. Just plugged in the usb thing and it worked great. Feels great.

    Great Wireless Mouse

My old wired mouse died after 10+ years and I was hesitant to get a new wireless mouse because of past experiences. I decided to try the M510 based on previous great experiences with Logitech products. I was not disappointed. Very easy to setup; just plug the tiny USB receiver into an empty slot, pull the tab on the pre-installed batteries, and within 30 seconds you are up and running. This mouse has a very smooth feel in use and provides very precise positioning which makes it a pleasure to use. I have now purchased two of them for home use and waiting to see if they live up to their two year rated battery life.

Sleek mouse that links up well with the Logitech universal receiver. Battery lasts forever and never gives me any issue. Definitely worth the price.

Not as good as it used to be

I have owned an M510 mouse for many years. Mine was getting...gooey. The rubber sides were just about shot. I wanted another one just like it, I had gotten many great years of service out of it. So I bought a new one. Same model, same look and feel. That is the end of what was the same. My old mouse was snappy and fast to respond. I could make any change I wanted to the buttons and speed, plus acceleration, and they all worked. It ran Logitech Set Point software. This new mouse is not recognized by Set Point. It now says I have to download Logitech Options software. 150 megs for a mouse driver? are they kidding? So I uninstall Set Point and Install Options. Sure enough it see the mouse and allows me to change buttons. Tons of customization, but no acceleration setting. OK so I have to get used to losing the acceleration, maybe an update will put it back at some time. But then I notice all the customized buttons have lag in them. You cant just click the button and have it work. You have to wait for something to happen. I really thought the days of having wireless mouse lag were long over. Not true with this new software. The new Options software is absolute junk. Slow to respond, huge installation for a mouse, and it runs something like 15 services at startup. Needless to say this mouse was on it's way back to Best Buy. I uninstalled all the bloatware software that they call Options and reinstalled my old mouse with the newest version of Set Point. Back to normal. Fast response with custom buttons and acceleration. I cleaned my old mouse and repackaged this one for return. The next morning I needed a mouse on a laptop. I grabbed the new M510 and just plugged in the USB receiver. I did no customization at all, just a normal mouse. Guess what, it's fast and responsive. On a whim I install the Options software. Slow again, and any customization slows it down even further. I uninstalled the new software on the laptop and the mouse works great again. Just no customization. I have decided to keep the mouse on the laptop. I just need a mouse there, no custom buttons. If you just need a mouse without customized buttons, this one fits your hand well (assuming you are right handed) and works well with the Windows drivers. If you want customized buttons find something else. Logitech has ruined the driver software. It is huge and adds lag to any customization, plus you cant turn on acceleration of the pointer.
