This is the best trackball on the market, if you need a simple trackball this will do the job, this is my second one for my workstation; I carried around another one and I have dropped it tossed it from the second floor of my Uni to one of my classmates and it has survived if you treat this trackball bad it will be there fire you if you treat it well than you'll have it for a lifetime these things are indeesteuctable. Range is great if you need to use it in a 12' x 12' room just make sure you have a clear line of sight to the reciver, if you have the reciver behind a monitor or other obstruction your range will be shortened, all in all this pointing device is great especially if you have limited real estate where a conventional mice won't work

I bought this before but lost usb part that connects to this mouse so I bought it again. I love trackball because it is easy to use trackball instead of moving mouse around and need a pad under it. It is great and dont have to move it much.

Great wrist rest for a mouse or, my preference, a track ball.

I messed up my wrist as a kid and this thing works great.. i use it on every pc i have.. I put them on my work machines .. you dont have to move it around so works great in confined spaces too.

Love this mouse. Great if limited desk space or addicted to working while sitting on couch! No more chasing the mouse around. Just roll the ball and click. Works better than any other mouse I've used

I have always loved my logitech items, but I have truely enjoyed the wireless mouse. This is my second as the one I replaced had been used for many years and only had one button working. Great mouse for the price!!!

initially I didn't think I would like this mouse because of the roller ball. This is the best mouse ever. no need to move the mouse around great for limited space. Will be upgrading to the new version.

Somewhat hard to install but good features. Customizable to a degree, for right hand mousers, battery powered.

Easy for people with carpal tunnel. Takes a minute to get use to not move your mouse around and just move the ball. Once you master the ball you will love it.

The roller ball is more efficient when you have limited space.

I love using this kind of trackball, so keep that in mind. In fact, I resist ever having to use a regular mouse. I can only conclude that more people would switch if they had a chance to try a trackball. I have the step-up model at work and this M570 at my home computer. For me, using my thumb to move the ball is so much more precise -- and less fatiguing -- than moving the whole mouse with my wrist. The "back" and "forward" buttons are great, as is the scroll wheel... and all are adjustable (to a certain extent) in the software (that one does not have to install, by the way). I hope Logitech always makes trackballs!

Love it. Much better than a standard mouse. Takes a little getting used to but once you are hooked, you will never go back.

My go-to mouse for gaming. Civilization games are a breeze because you don't have to move your forearm all the time. Whole games can be played with a thumb and two fingers, with the mouse perched on your leg.

Easy to use... comfortable, stylish, modern... i used to design using bigger trackballs back in the days... this is a great improvement at my pc desk...

Easy to use, I was having trouble getting my mouse to track, and the track ball on the mouse eliminated my problem. It took a short amount of time to get used to using the ball, but was worth the effort.

I am a software professional and this was the perfect mouse, I graduated to this piece from Microsoft mobile mouse 4000 as I was having wrist pain from prolonged usage at work. Very happy with my purchase.

Works well for everyday tasks, and the ball type take up less desk space. I don't like it for gaming though.

I grew up using a mouse like this and I use it every day at work. It helps tremendously with pain from a regular mouse. Your hand naturally lays on your mouse and its much more ergonomic.

This mouse works great and can be used on the arm of the couch, on your lap, or when leaning back in a recliner, on your left shoulder. You won't be limited by a pad or flat surface. I love it.
