Love this wireless track-ball mouse. Comfortable hand position and easy to use. No wires is great keeping a cleaner work area that has limited space. Batteries are long lasting.

I've used roller balls before,This one is the best

I bought this a little over a month ago, and it's the beat roller ball I've ever had (and I've had four before this one). I didn't have to do anything for set up, just plugged in the wireless receiver into the USB port and turned on the computer, and I was up and running. This ball is so smooth and easy to move, no sticking, no roughness, it just rolls along with very little effort from your thumb. The forward page and back page are on the left side of the main control buttons, the top button is the forward page and the bottom button is the back page, you no longer have to move your fingers to the left and then way over to the right , their right their together. So, far after 5 weeks I haven't had to change the batteries yet, and I use this 12 to 14 hours a day. I'll tell you if you buy this, you won't be sorry.

    Ideal replacement for a mouse

I use a two screen set-up and found myself frequently having to pick up and readjust my mouse when going from screen to screen. Using the trackball also frees up a lot of space on my desk. Training myself to use it was very intuitive and the shape is extremely comfortable, it's like a hand-rest rather than a tool that I have to constantly move around. I have a Logitech keyboard as well and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could pair the two devices so that I only need one dongle plugged into my computer. The only possible downside is that it is a trackball rather than an optical device so the old-fashioned "pop out the ball and clean the dust" task now rears it's head every once in a while but it is extremely simple to pop the ball out and well worth the trade off.

For mouse users, switching to a trackball is hard but I have to say that after doing so, I will never go back to a mouse. The ability to use it anywhere is amazing. Standing, sitting, laying down in bed, at a desk, on my lap, it doesn't matter, it can be used anywhere.

Logitech M570 ball mouse is smoothest available.

The Logitech M570 trackball mouse is the best mouse available, in my opinion. Most of the other mice require you to move the mouse all over the place which puts a lot of stress on your wrist. Also, I find the other mice less accurate to use especially with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. With the Trackball M570 you can smoothly and quickly move from one part of a picture to another with a few moves of your thumb without contorting yourself (especially if you are using a mouse in a confined space). Consequently, this helps to reduce likelihood of wrist or shoulder injury. I simply love the M570 ball mouse and now have one for each of my desktop and laptop computers.

Love this mouse. I now have one for my work, one for my laptop and one for my home pc and use them all pretty often. Only issue is that I have to pop out the ball to clean the sensor on occasion but it's not as bad as the old mice and having to pull it apart since it was made to just pop the ball out. Overall love this mouse.

I purchased this one for myself as a back up to the one that I already have. The price was so good I couldn’t pass the deal up! I paid about $50 for my last one and this one was only $24. They last a long time and are more convenient than regular mouse! The thumb is very precise on the trackball!

This works great for me and my wife. We both have Carpal Tunnel as well as Arthritis and we are both able to use this. Being able to get up and move around without being tripped up by a cord attached to you computer is a good sight safer too. We seem to be getting good battery life also. Thanks for carrying it Best Buy.

My mother-in-law has used this style mouse for several years. She states it is easier for her arthritic hand, as the thumb does more movement than the entire hand. She did drop it & her cats "stole" the ball, resulting in the need for another mouse. Now my father-in-law wants one too. I had his shipped to their house.

The trackball makes this the perfect screen controller far any area. No more looking for an area to fit a mouse pad. Drop it next to your keyboard and you are ready to go. Your hand drops on the ergonomic shape and its is perfectly comfortable. Once you use this trackball the mouse and its tail will be distant memory

I bought this for my laptop, since I hate using that touchpad and regular mice need a sizeable hard, flat surface to function properly. This I can just set down on anything, armrest, leg, whatever. Takes a little getting used too if you aren't familiar with trackball mice, but soon becomes intuitive. This is my 2nd one I've bought, my old one still works, but the left and right mouse buttons have become worn a bit and don't respond well. It was about 5 years old, so they do last quite a while. Outlasted the laptop I originally bought it for.

Trackballs are so easy to use and Logitech makes the best. I'm right handed so have no problem using this. I first started using trackballs when I noticed my shoulder having pain many years ago. I recently fractured, dislocated my shoulder and tore my rotate cuff. The trackball prevents a lot of pain from mousing!

I'll be honest...I stood in front of the display of all the mice (and keyboard) @ the store for a while and came close to getting a regular wireless mouse but I like my wired tracball mouse (a Logitech by the way) so I got the wireless version of my beloved Logitech...happy with the choice!

I've known people who switched from mice to trackballs and they swear by them. I thought they were crazy. Until now. lately I had a pain in my arm and wrist associated with repetitive motion. I read that trackballs were a sensible solution and decided to give them a try. After comparing the various options at Best Buy I selected this option from Logitech and I do not regret it. Yes, it takes some getting used to, but it is great. Responsive and easy to use. It takes less space on the desk and you don't need a large area to move it around as one does with a mouse. It is funny when the IT people comes by and try to move it around like a mouse :-) BTW, the pain in my arm is long gone now.

Bought this mouse for my laptop, wasn't sure if I'd like it as I was used to the sort of mouse you move around. However, while there was a bit of an adjust me to get comfortable with it, I really enjoy this mouse and actually like it more than the other ones I've used in the past. It's especially helpful if you don't have much room to move a mouse around since you don't need to move it at all to use it, only use the trackball, it's also a comfortable size for my hand and overall I'm just really happy with it.

My wife will have to get shoulder replacement surgery soon and is in agony when using a regular mouse. Even the small motion side-to-side was enough to cause a lot of pain. Enter the trackball mouse where she can rest her arm in one spot and use her thumb to control the cursor. I've been using it for years and was a godsend for her to alleviate pain until the actual surgery. The mouse works well and is easy to pop the ball out to clean as needed. It works just fine and has the handy forward/back buttons to the left of the index finger as an added bonus. Battery is easily replaceable and lasts a long time.

This mouse was a gift for Christmas. This was an online purchase and the first mouse that was delivered was defective. I was able to return to store with absolutely no problems. Thank you for the great customer service. Since the new mouse has arrived, my son has barely come up for air from his online gaming.

I am space restricted so the stationary trackball mouse works perfectly for me. My first extended experience with computers back in the card punch days was with the track ball, so I am very comfortable with the feel of the mouse. I've friends that will try it for a short period and quit in frustration. Their loss.
