Did not compare products because this was the only mouse of its type in the store, but it was what I wanted.

The rating has more to do with me than the product. I'm having difficulty adjusting to a side ball, I have used a middle one for over 10 yrs. I wish there were as many options for wireless as there are for wire ones.
