If you haven’t tried the Logitech trackball you should. It takes a little bit to get used to, so much easier then the traditional mouse.

I've been using Logitech Trackball mice for many years. This style is my preferred version. Sized just right- not too big and not too small. Mouse pointer is easily controlled by moving your thumb over the ball. Not everyone is comfortable with this style so try the variety of Logitech mice at your local Best Buy store to find the one that is best suited for you.

this is a great accessory for your laptop when you don't have any space on the desk or like to sit the laptop on your lap. easy to install and durable.

I find it much more convenient to use in the odd places, like on a couch no need for a flat and spacious place, your knee will do. Flawless interface with the computer. This comes with a place to store the USB bud, and a easy to access on and off switch on the back to save the single battery. Pretty smooth operation, durable and I feel more ergonomic. I no longer use the mouse, this is my preferred computer interface tool. The four stars, well I find these are not equal as I have three of them, and they all have a different feel, and so I do have a favorite.

The Logitech rollerball is a great accessory to my laptop. It makes it a lot easier to move through the pages while sitting and browsing through websites

I have been using this mouse for over 5 years now to play a lot of pc games in a small space. With this mouse I can play all of my games with no problems!

Takes a few days to get used to this mouse compared to a standard mouse but is well worth the wait. So much faster navigating the screen and has pinpoint accuracy once you get the hang of it. No more need to make sure you have a mouse pad or enough desk space to navigate when using a regular mouse. Only con is that extremely fine precision can be a little difficult.

This wireless trackball is an excellent value. I generally prefer using a mouse, but this is hands-down the best peripheral for when I want to sit in bed or relax on the sofa with my notebook. I don't have to worry about having a flat surface for the mouse, and I don't have to resort to using the annoying touchpad. The trackball has excellent sensitivity, my daughter uses hers for digital art (drawings and coloring), where fine lines are a necessity.

Great mouse for office work, and it works OK for gaming. Recommend this mouse if you have to work with minimal space or if you have issues with your wrists and repetitive movement.

Really like the ergonomic style of this mouse. We own three now. Haven't found one that helps minimize issues with my carpal tunnel as well as this one.

My second one (first one I damaged) I have purchased. Great with my 2-1 Asus Laptop. Use it on my laptop, in my lap or in folded mode. Excellent when watching videos, allows me to control my laptop without having cables or using touchpad or screen. Logitech trackballs are always in my computer bag. Over 15 years, corded or wireless.

I have never liked mice and have used trackballs ever since they first came out. This one is smaller than a lot of them which makes it easy to use with either a laptop or a desktop. The buttons are nicely spaced so it fits your hand.

I come from using a corded mouse for work and for gaming. I always liked the way a traditional mouse feels and handles. Logitech has always been a good brand in my opinion, but it has been a while since I actually bought one of their mice. after buying a new laptop, I wanted something that I could use instead of the trackpad, which I do not like to use unless I have to. I have never used one of these ball/rolling type mice before, but it is truly great, I would even go as far as to say superior compared to traditional mice. If you are just a person who browses the internet, does basic spreadsheets, I would recommend this. This mouse requires no mouse pad and only a space about the size of a smart phone to use. Since you do not actually move the mouse, it does not tire your hand, and it does not need a lot of desk space. The only reason why I could see someone not buying this, is because they do not like the colors. Logitech should make more color options. The mouse does feel a bit cheap because it is lightweight and seems hollow, so I hope to never drop this. The unifying usb dongle is pretty great if you own other logitech devices. I use this for autocad, photoshop and sketchup, and do like it, but would still rather use a regular mouse for those programs.

I do like this mouse, but it is weird using your thumb to scroll rather than your index finger and pressing the go button with your index finger. It took a couple of weeks to get the hang of it. It is sensitive and responsive tho.

Trackball and rest of the device works as expected. The size is comfortable in hand. Primary button placements take a while to get used to, and placement for forward-backward accessory buttons is not intuitive.

For a lazy person like me sitting in front of a screen, this product is perfect for laziners! you don't have to move your arm around because everything is in a wave of a finger. Ball moves smoothly with the scrow in the center of it to also maneuver around. Greatest invention every made...

I really like how this feels and that I don't need to move the actual mouse around on the mouse pad. I can just move it with the track ball. It moves freely and was a simple adjustment from the normal "clicky" kind of mouse I had been using. It took me about 1 day to get used to and I have been super happy ever since!

Will make you never want to use a mouse again. Batteries last a long time. Only thing is you have to clean ball and inside often

I love the rollerball design. Not necessary to have room to move it around. I can even rest it on my leg and use with ease. Very simple to set up, just plug in the chip and go! The shape is very ergonomic therefore your hand is always comfortable. Wouldn't use any other kind. It does take getting used to if you have never used this kind of mouse but it is so worth taking the time!
