I bought the trackball mouse because I was having trouble with my wrist from too many years using a mouse. Installation was simple and straight forward. The track ball is easy to operate and it allows fine control of the cursor. It took a little getting used to because you don't move your hand. It is very easy on the wrist. I can use my computer for long periods of time with no wrist pain. I think it is an excellent product.

I had one of these when I was working due to small area to work in. Since then at home I was using a regular mouse that you have to move all over. I found one of these again and decided to buy and I'm glad I did. Took me almost no time to get the hang of it again and it stays in one spot moving everything via the ball. I doubt I will ever go back to a regular mouse.

I have owned this model since 2014; I had to buy a new one only because I lost the other one. If you love the trackball style, you can't go wrong with this. The contours allow for my hand to comfortably rest during operation. You have to occasionally pop the ball out and clean the collected dirt out of the rollers every once in a while, but yeah, good mouse for the money.

I love trackballs, specifically thumb-balls. I've now drawn my son into the cult of trackballs and purchased this item for him. This is a very economical option for a very comfortable, and very precise controller. As he has switched while remote learning he has mentioned that the trackball has made it easier and more comfortable to do his classwork. The ball control is smooth and precise, and all of the buttons are nicely "clicky" and responsive. I think this would be a great baseline trackball for anyone that is interested in trying one out for the first time. Though trackballs are a bit bulkier than a mouse and may not be the easiest to fit in a computer travel bag I will guarantee that they are easier to use on the go when flat surfaces to put a mouse down on a pad are harder to come by. Same goes when you're stretched on the couch or bed and a flat spot is hard to come by. I've been using this exact trackball for a couple of years on a small pull out keyboard tray, or very often my leg. I suppose the right-handed design may be a turnoff for a lefty, but that seems to be true of most "ergonomic" mouse designs as well.

Installation is as simple as removing the dongle from the battery compartment and plugging it in to a USB port. The difference between moving a mouse around the desk and rolling a trackball around in its socket with one's thumb is nothing short of amazing. Combined with the convenience of wireless operation, this is an outstanding input device.

I'm a Logitech fan, so picking this up was a no-brainer. I had been in need of a mouse option that didn't require a flat surface - as I travel and don't always have a desk or table option as to where I can utilize my laptop. This trackball mouse takes a little getting used to, especially for any kind of gaming. However, once I got adjusted, its amazing and I find it difficult to go back to a standard mouse. I highly recommend this if you need a track ball mouse.

I purchased this mouse more for travel than office use. You don't have to move the mouse around to move the cursor, just roll the ball. The mouse stay stationary.

My hands and my wrists simply won't allow the use of a standard mouse anymore. This trackball allows to to use my computer for extended periods of time without pain. One caveat: the unifying receiver isn't supported under Linux, so far as I can tell. At the moment, the dongle sees my trackball but not my keyboard. I'm working on it, though.

I love this mouse because for one I don't like the touch pad on my laptops and tablet. #2 is that I can keep it in one place due to the thumb-roller feature and I don't have to move it all over the table. I would suggest this mouse over any other mouse. If anyone gets this just remember to take out the ball to clean the contacts inside or the mouse wont work right.

I have always liked the track ball better than the normal mouse that has to be constantly moved around. with the ball, all u have to do is roll the ball, and it moves the mouse, it has programable buttons, so that's cool. I DO NOT use it for gaming. I just use to surf the web, and so on.

Having used Microsoft's Trackball for years, I can honestly say this is a superior replacement. They have an ergonomic feel. Unlike the Microsoft five button version where the fifth button was placed on the far right and was a bit awkward due to the size of the device, the M570 has it right above the perfectly placed back button. Combined with the new SetPoint software, this is my new favorite input device.

The setup for this mouse couldn't be simpler. You just insert the transceiver into a USB port on the computer and it automatically detects the mouse. It has a good quality feel to it and offers a nice alternative to moving the mouse around on the desk. Takes a little getting used to, in trying to move the cursor by just rolling your thumb instead of moving the whole mouse.
