Logitech - M570 Wireless Trackball Mouse

I have been working with computers for nearly 35 years and consider myself to be very picky when it comes to my peripheral equipment. I have used the wireless and wired versions of the M570 over the years since it has become my "go-to" mouse. The ease of use and available buttons are great! While not a gaming mouse, I would not trade it for another, especially since it avoids that slinging sensation that so often accompanies other mouse types. I highly recommend the M570 to anyone who sits for hours at a computer, especially if you suffer from any form of arthritic ailments. The only negative thing I can say is that you have to occasionally remove the ball, which involves tapping the mouse in your hand, and removing the lint build up on the three contacts. Of course, this is common with any mouse of this type.

I bought one of these several years ago, and use the computer frequently. It finallyhad a problem with the left button not registering clicks. But I bought another one because it's a great mouse! Thumb ball is swift, feels good, and the tactile sensations for the buttons is great. Has a wheel for scrolling and other functions. I have found the Logitech Unifying system easy to use and configure.

Exactly what I wanted in a wireless mouse!

Having long been using a track ball mouse exclusively, this wireless model from Logitech is exactly what I wanted for my laptop. I am travelling, and often connect my laptop to the hotel TV via HDMI, for viewing Netflix, etc. Having this mouse makes that all the more convenient, since I can sit back on the bed and control the laptop from afar. The quality is all that I have come to expect, and receive, from Logitech products. I could not have designed one myself that better suits my needs.

Been having a problem with my Logitech M705 mouse being accurate enough with the Logitech software installed, decided to give this a try and it works pretty good. Also helped with reducing my wrist pain.

This is the best mouse I have used in any of my computers! Ever since I started using a corded version of this, I never looked back! I use one with my iMac and one with my laptop with runs Linux in it. In the beginning it takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it is much easier and faster to use than other types. One of the biggest advantages for me is the fact that you can use it on any surface, glass top, soft materials, or even on your lap. It just works!!!

This trackball is easy to set up and use. Overall it works well, though the buttons are not as great for gaming as I'd like. It is much better to use than a mouse though, and wireless works well. I thought the price was a touch high, but not too bad and I had to list something for not so great. I use it a lot, so in a few months I'll know how it holds up. So far it is worth the purchase.

This is the first time I've used a mouse like this and it takes two weeks or so to get used to it, but now I love it! Very comfortable to use. However I find occasionally myself pressing the wrong mouse button. I believe it only a matter of getting used to it. The ergonomics are comfortable and my wrist doesn't strain any more. I don't play game, so I'm not sure if it's great for that or not, but it's good for web browsing or basic things.

I love the roller ball mouse. Very easy to use, no "chasing" the mouse around on the pad. It stays in one place, under your hand, with no movement other than that of your fingers. You can do anything you do with a conventional mouse, just easier and faster. This is my first cordless roller ball mouse - the last roller ball mouse I had was many years ago and I can say it I "retired" it as a very tired mouse. I highly recommend this.

So glad I took advantage of the online sale and bought this product. The mouse comes with batteries, has a USB wireless port, so no Bluetooth set up needed. It fits comfortably into your hand, and I've used a trackball type mouse for years now. It's very precise when editing photos. After almost a month of use, batteries are still going strong. I'm a casual gamer, and the cursor and mouse keys are responsive and fast. I haven't found any cons yet…….I even like the color. :P

This track ball was easy to learn, became intuitive in short time. Love the wireless, opens up space on the desktop. So much easier to use than mouse, and uses much less space as this track ball stays in one place, not required to be physically moved when being used.

I bought this mouse because it was styled like a Logitech mouse I had years ago (that I loved). I have no idea what happened to my old one. Anyway, my old one was great and this one is a serious improvement. It has a place to store the dongle in the unit. The ball pops out easy enough (but not too easy) for cleaning. But I find I don't need to clean it since the laser is recessed and doesn't get all gunked up. Very cool mouse and it's reasonably priced.

I have used this same trackball for several years and it has worked perfectly until recently. It started double clicking when I left clicked. The only fix was to remove the battery and repeatedly click the left and right buttons. That would fix the problem for a short time, but it would return in a day or two. This replacement trackball has worked perfectly for a month or so now and has not shown the problem at all.

Using the thumb to move the trackball means no wasted, clumsy movements of mice or other trackballs. Once I got used to using my thumb in the early 90's, which didn't take all that long for me, I've never gone back to mice. One drawback is the low quality switches in the buttons that wear out if used for online games due to extremely repetitive clicking.

    Great Mouse for Wrist Problems

This mouse is great for people that find that the usual optical mouse bugs their wrist after extended use or if you have carpal tunnel. Using a trackball mouse keeps your wrist stationary as your thumb does all the work for the pointer. I hated these things for a long time but it surprisingly did not take as much time to get used to as I thought it would. And my wrist hasn't hurt no matter how long I've used it since I switched.

I’ve been using Logitech Trackball mice since the first one released (1995?). Since then I have not used any other and will not use any other type of mouse. No sense waving your arm all over the desk when you can just twiddle your thumb! More accurate than a tradition mouse, far more comfortable and less fatiguing. For me there is no other option.

I had a track ball a while ago and lost it. The years in between I have used wireless mice. With my new office I found mice to be a nuisance due to the need for a pad. This track ball is a star! I think I work better now that I can troll with my thumb. Love it!
