I work in the office and I use the mouse a lot. Compared to other brands in the same price range, I liked this model in functionality, the battery lasts a long time, the ergonomic shape is adequate, the only drawback for me is that the click when pressing the buttons buttons is too strong for me, it could improve in this aspect

Works as it was designed. Handy space for the USB connection. Easy to use and to keep up with. I think it was a great purchase for the price. What else could I say about a mouse.

This wireless mouse is great. Battery life is long and the freedom of not having a wire is fantastic. Buttons and wheel work perfectly.

For the money, it’s a great mouse. I like the size, the forward and back buttons, and the long battery life. This my second M705 mouse. That said, there are a few things that could use improvement and I’m sure it’s software related. Every so often, the cursor will not move smoothly and I have to restart my Mac. The Logitech Control Center no longer works properly with Catalina so I had to download a shareware app to enable the forward/back on a my Mac. (That shouldn’t be an issue on a PC.) I’m sure I could find a mouse that improves on this but it would likely cost twice as much or more.

This mouse was purchased a month ago for $30 and has been in use ever since. I spent a lot of (too much) time looking at wireless mice to replace an 8-year old wireless MS Mouse 5000. While the MS mouse was still working, it didn't have the hyper-fast scrolling of the M705 and 8-years is a long time for a mouse. The M705 fits my hand superbly, better than the MS mouse. The fit of the MX Master (latest top of the line Logitech mouse) in my hand was not nearly as good as the M705, either. So the main thing I like about this mouse is the fit. It's only for us right-handers, though, so you south paws are OOL. The hyper-fast scrolling worked quite well, and while I usually don't use it, when I do it works quite well. The battery life hasn't been tested yet (it's supposed to be three-years) but I full well expect that it will be more than adequate even though I never turn the mouse off using the power switch on the bottom. The mouse is used at my work desk and doesn't get moved around. If I'd planned to use this as a portable mouse, I'd have purchased a smaller mouse than this. All told this is definitely a 5-star mouse. The worst thing I can say about it is that the software to fully configure it must be downloaded from the web and this didn't go smoothly for me. While Logitech's tech support was ultimately helpful, the guy I dealt with in Bangalore was as thick as a brick and only able to read from his script; he had no real clue of what he was talking about.

This mouse battery last about 3 years and have all features that most people need. Is a wireless mouse that works on all surfaces except glass.

It’s and amazing mouse!! I was very skeptical at first to spend the money on it, but it was definitely a great investment and I have no regrets. Very responsive and has a great ergonomic design that doesn’t put any strain on your hands.

This is my favorite mouse. I've been through tons of wireless mice, and have found this one to be the best. I can quickly scroll through documents and smoothly move across the screen. I have repurchased this mouse several times to have at all my computers.

but, there must have been a couple bad batches out there as we bought two and one is still kicking just fine after a year and the other that was recently purchased does nothing when you click it. Go figure. On sale, this mouse was under $20 and was well worth it. It fits in your hand comfortably, even for my husband's and sons' bigger hamhocks, lol. It might be a little clunky for younger children, but it tracks well, is programmable, had a great scroll feature and functions like a typical mid sized mouse should. Never had an issue with the little USB key, finds it fast every time I move locations. Batteries last a long time.

I love this mouse BUT, after a year of heavy use I always have to replace it, because the cursor starts to become intermitting and it drives me nuts. I've tried other mice to replace it over the years, but no other mice have ever felt as great as this to use. So every year when it starts acting up I just go out and buy the same one. At least it inexpensive and it's been a current model for many years. I hope they keep making this one for years to come, so that I keep buying one every year! I would have rated it five stars instead of four if I didn't have to get a new one once a year.

I work partly in IT and bought 4 of these mice for 4 different computers (Mac and Windows) for clients, and have been very happy with the performance and battery life. I’ve had these guys for over a year, and I don’t know if I’ve had to change a battery yet. They are quick to setup (plug in the USB adapter and you are good to go). It’s my go to mouse if I need a new one for the cost and reliability.

Bought this mouse for my laptop. It is on the smaller size making it easy to move around. You can store the wireless dongle (which is tiny) where the batteries are located but I leave it plugged into the USB port on my computer all the time. Have not had any complaints about accuracy or durability although this mouse was not used in a gaming situation. Has switch to turn off mouse when not in use to conserve batteries. Battery life has been excellent in the 6 months I have used the mouse.

Love this mouse it is excellent and the battery lasts so long compared to others I’ve had in the past. We’ve been using it with rechargeable batteries. We’re using it with our living room computer - so probably not the best for gaming but great for movies, emails and browsing the web.

For the longest time I couldn't find a wireless mouse that worked reliably. When I purchased my last laptop I decided to once again give it a try. I selected the Logitech Marathon M705 because of the programmable buttons that mouse offered. And to my surprise this mouse works flawlessly! I like it so much I purchased a second one for my work laptop. And battery life is amazing, I've been working all year so far on the original batteries. You won't be disappointed!

Very satisfied with how it moves and the button feel. I haven’t programmed the two thumb button on the side. I never have before but I think that would help me in my workflow.
