The M510 works for lefties and righties, but if you're right handed, the M705 conforms better to the natural hand position. The only thing I didn't like was that the scroll wheel makes an audible clicking sound compared to the silent M510. Other than that, this mouse is better in every way.

However, my attempts to find information on setting up and programming a driver for the M705 has been fruitless. Twice, I have spent over an hour each on the Logitech website trying to find out how to configure and utilize all five buttons without success.
