I admit that this is one of the best computer mouse you can buy out there. I purchased about 4 or 5 of these from different merchants. I highly recommend because of the responsiveness, soft clicking (better on your fingers and wrist) and glides very well on to surface. The battery life is average and due the fact it has a tiny receiver. In my experience, you can expect the mouse to perform at its very best between 2-3 years. But the return of investment is pretty good, since it's not as expensive as other computer mouse to replace it.

This mouse fits in my hand very comfortably and the movement of the pointer is very smooth. The batteries seem to last a very long time.

I had a logitech similar to this which died after around 5 years of use. This one, while not as feature packed as the old one, was about half the price and had the same ergonomic feel. So far I like it.

The logictech M705 mouse works perfectly on any surface. And the mini-bluetooth can be left in your computer. And, the little button on the bottom of the left thumb rest brings up all open programs on your screen, laid out in a neat form (better than flag tab or the Apple one) with the name of the program or file in bold printed across the mini-window so tha you don't have to peer at it to figure out which program or window you want to move to.

got this mouse as a replacement of a wireless mouse and keyboard combo. The original mouse that was replaced is the same model as this one. it started to have issue with the left button, if I click once, sometimes it becomes a double click. The replacement works fine and can be connected to the original dongle with no problem. The only thing is both left and right button seems to be little bit more sensitive than the one replaced. It took sometimes to adjust, however, once I get use to it, all good. Very nice mouse.

It seems like I've used this mouse for 15 years. This is my 3rd one in that time. I keep buying the same mouse so I guess I'm a fan.
