Great quality mouse for the price. I had another less expensive Logitech mouse that lasted for 10+ years of extremely heavy use before a button failure did it in. This one appears to be even better quality than that one. I like the ergonomic shape which fits well in my oversized hands.

Ergonomics is out of this world with this mouse. Battery lifespan is phenomenal. Just a great piece of hardware for your computer. Period. The only flaw if it had one is that the scroll wheel spins a little too freely. No big deal though. I believe adjustment can be made in Windows settings

Plug an play with Linux and Windows. Pretty good battery life. Just enough buttons to be useful. Ding one star for quality as these are not meant for heavy duty clicking. For causal use these are excellent.

Thank you for your feedback. It's noted that the M705 excels in casual use but may not suit heavy clicking demands. The durability feedback is valuable for future product improvements Logitech

So good I replaced an old one with another

I've owned an MK710 keyboard+mouse set for many years and the mouse that came with it (also an M705) eventually wore out its right click trigger so I replaced with a new model. I like the high arc as I have large hands, and the thumb cavity on the left hand side provides a very ergonomic feel (at least, assuming right hand mouse usage.) Its a big, heavy mouse compared to most, but ideal for larger hands. Extra features like the button to control loose or ratchetted mouse wheel movement are nice, too. Includes a Logitech USB receiver, which fortunately still worked with my older keyboard so I didn't have to run one receiver for each device. The models currently sold have a lighter color gray for the mouse buttons area and a newer Logitech logo than pictured, but are otherwise identical.

    Not Quite Your Old M705

The Logitech M705 Marathon Mouse has been one of my favorites for years. It has enough controls for many operations, but most importantly, fits my hand well for long sessions at the computer. That said, this IS NOT the same M705 mouse it was. Logitech has removed the third switch on the lower left side. This particular switch was not as obvious, beneath the rubber padding near the bottom edge. Most people probably never knew it was there or used it, but it was programable, and I normally used it as another way to get around the open applications. I'm more than a little annoyed that they decided to remove it. Any why did I get another one anyway? The left mouse button on my old one went "flakey", with uncertain action and key-bounce. This is known problem with these mice, and my temporary replacement mouse was hurting my hand. I expect that I'll eventually repair or replace the switch in the old one, but until then, my hand is much happier with this one.

Logitech has created the perfect mobile wireless mouse. Great size and feel. The USB bluetooth wireless receiver uses the Unifying software to allow for just about ANY other Logitech peripheral to connect without having to use another receiver. Power switch helps to save battery life. Within the battery housing there is even a place for extra receivers. Worth every penny.

I prefer using corded mice, but for the times when that just isn't practical, this mouse has been great and very reliable. It isn't too small and fits comfortably in your hand. I like the fact that you can shut the "clicking" on & off for the scroll wheel also. The batteries seem to last quite a while too.

They are not kidding about the battery life on these mouse. they can run for 3 years on alkaline, and over a year on rechargeable's. but this is not the best part of this mouse, the shape make it very comfortable for prolong use. the extra buttons are very well placed, speeds up my work a lot with customizeable buttons. over all ,... Get it if onsale!

Solid dependable mouse. It fits nicely into my hand and has an extremely smooth scroll. I had been buying the Microsoft 4000 because it felt great but they also went through batteries every two weeks and burned out anywhere from one to six months. Through reviews I found this to be a permanent defect and went in search of a better mouse. I found it!

This mouse is fantastic. Opening those dreaded hard plastic clam shell packages can be tough. Even getting this out of the packaging was a breeze. Batteries included? Oh ya!! Put them in, take out the donegal. Close up the battery compartment and plug in the donegal to the USB in the computer and the mouse worked perfectly. Yes. Perfectly.

I was looking for a basic mouse and this one looked like it would fit the bill. I have had many mice covering the entire range from cheap to expensive. I have come to conclude a comfortable mouse with good buttons, and scroll wheel is all one needs. The scroll wheel can be ratcheted or free spinning which is nice. Overall good basic mouse.

    Fine mouse when on sale

For $20 *when on sale you won't find a better wireless mouse. My only (small issue that won't affect 99 percent of folks) concern is that on the same machine, it's perfect in Windows 10 but in Linux does "stall" some. Going from a "mobile" marketed mouse this is much larger and much more comfortable. I admit that I would only purchase this on sale as a $20 wired mouse would probably be better for desktop use but I do enjoy few wires.

Very pleased with this computer mouse.....its ergonomic design is very comfortable, the buttons are well placed and programable, and it is very responsive. It is made for right-handed people ( it has a natural right-curve), so, if you are left-handed this may not be the best choice for you.

This is perhaps the best value mouse by Logitech for office work, it has the free wheel scrolling, soft touch material where needed, ergonomic shape. Windows 10 "expose" button. The page up/down buttons are not intuitively placed, but they do are not as needed anyways. We have perhaps purchase around 10 of these mouses for home and business so far.

I love this moouse! It works without a mousepad which is what I needed as I don't like mousepads!! the scroll wheel is the best one I have ever had and you can speed it up or slow it down depending on your scrolling needs. Fits ergonomically to my hand as well.

    1) The batteries last forever with this mouse 2) When you click the mouse wheel and scroll up and down is nice, as always; but when you click the mouse wheel off, you can easily scroll up and down long web pages with just one spin - very nice and convenient. I definitely recommend this mouse.
