However, this updated M705 model is not as good as the older M705 that Logitech used to sell. It's missing the hidden thumb button and the overall feel isn't as high quality. I was replacing my old M705 that died and thought I'd get the same one but this is not it.

The Logitech mouse is the second one I’ve owned and it is a disappointment. I bought it on the strength of reviews and it did not live up to them. It was so bad, I put the cheap mouse I had retired back in service and it worked better. Maybe it is because I’m using it with a Mac? So far Logitech is two for two in bad hardware.
