The mouse is an absolute beast!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, I bought this mouse about 2 years ago and I have yet to change the batteries. It's extremely accurate and I have never had any hiccups or lagging or really anything negative. I use this mouse everyday for gaming, regular computer use and also digital drawing and it works great for everything. It's also fairly comfortable, even after many hours of use. It's durable as well. I've actually dropped it multiple times, and every time I have that all too familiar reaction of my heart stopping, as I bend down to pick it up, expecting the worst.. And at the time of writing this review, it never fails to continue working as intended. The buttons are still clicky, the scroll wheel is great and I absolutely love the toggle button for switching between scroll settings. I have it paired with my 2016 macbook pro. The mouse was recognized immediately and in the 2+ years of owning this mouse, it has never had any problems...at all. The only reason I'm leaving this review after all this time is because I just randomly realized how this mouse was chugging along without any incidents.

Good fit.Great extra features. My favorite by far.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have this mouse where I work and liked it so much that I bought one for home. What I like about this mouse is that it is well built, responds accurately and quickly to movements and clicks, and has two productivity features that I really, really love. First, it has the page forward/page back toggle buttons on the thumb side. Second, and the feature that sets it apart from most other mice, is that it has an awesome fast-scroll button on top. Just one click and you can zoom up and down the page without having to spin the scroll wheel multiple times. I have small hands and it is very comfortable to use, but it is not a small mouse -- it's full size. It would fit larger hand sizes very nicely. It is intended for PC use, but will also work on Macs with the exception of the forward/back toggle buttons. I believe that's a Mac issue and not a mouse issue, because I have other mice with forward/back toggle buttons, and they don't work on the Mac either.

Marathon is an understatement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After eight years my first Marathon mouse started acting up and needed to be replaced, and I didn't hesitate to buy another. I use it for eight to ten hours every work day and seldom bother to turn it off overnight. The paperwork claims that a set of batteries will last up to three years, but the pair that came with it lasted almost five. I often have to look at large Excel worksheets, and the ability to change from free wheel to click and being able to side scroll really come in handy. I also really like the button under my thumb that shows me every window I have open, making it easy to switch from one to another. On my recommendation, a few of my workmates and my son have bought M705's, and they all seem happy with them as well.

Comfortable and precise with some premium features
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The M705 makes for a great mid-range wireless mouse. The shape is ergonomic and very comfortable for extended periods of use. Laser tracking seems very accurate and the mouse is fairly well weighted. I'm a fan of the 2-mode scrolling, which allows you to switch between 3 line and smooth, quick scrolling at the touch of a button. One of the more unique functions on this mouse is the thumb rest button, which brings up a collage of all active windows when clicked. At first, I thought it was a pretty gimmicky feature, but I've grown to use it more than the taskbar to switch windows.

Great mouse for the money. Working great on HTPC.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this mouse every day on my HTPC (we stream everything, etc...) Have had no trouble with it at all. (Unlike the R.A.T. 7 mouse and Razer Oroborous mice I bought for my gaming rig. One has static buildup issues, ... the other one had battery issues and died when it fell off my desk (both are over $100 each...) Anyway, ... for $40 this mouse has really held up well... Battery lasts for months! HTPC is about 15 ft from my seating area, and no lag, always works as it should... Highly recommend!

My favorite mouse
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my favorite general use mouse. I use one at work, on my main computer at home, and one for when I bring my work laptop home with me. This mouse just feels right in my hand, has a bit of weight to it, and just the right features. Battery lasts forever in these things it seems. I reset the buttons to control my music while using my general purpose computers (volume up, down, pause). You can set the wheel for click control and for smooth rolling with the touch of a button.

I love this mouse!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this mouse! It feels great in your hand. Responds well. Love the forward and back buttons for web browsing. Scrolls well. I was skeptical because it didn't cost very much. You often get what you paid for. I feel like I got more than I expected.

Great for desktop or travel
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was worried that this might be too small for everyday use, since it seems to be tailored for the travel segment, but I was pleasantly surprised that it is in fact well suited for everyday desktop use. I now own two -- one each for home and the office. Add Hyper-scrolling wheel and phenomenal battery life, and you've got yourself one of the best mice money can buy.

Fits larger hand well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have always had trouble finding a mouse that fit my hand and felt good, often they are too small. this one is very nicely sized and has an ergonomic feel to it. As I expect from Logitech, it works very well, though I do need a mouse pad. My old one worked wherever except fro glass. I'm very happy with this purchase, even if it was a little pricey.

Almost Perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this mouse for my Macbook Pro to replace the horrible Magic Mouse. I mainly got this mouse for the long-lasting battery feature but was really pleased to see that it has so many other useful features for a Mac: 1. Brings back "right-click" (thank goodness) 2. Has a hidden thumb button that launches Mission Control 3. The scroll wheel can scroll left to right by pushing the wheel to either side 4. Control Center app allows you to configure almost every aspect of the mouse With all those positives you might be wondering why only 4 stars. The answer is due to an "over-active" scroll wheel. The scroll wheel seems to be mounted on bearings which although super-smooth, makes the wheel extremely sensitive. If I barely nudge my desk the wheel moves causing the page to scroll down. You can lower the speed of the scrolling but that doesn't change how physically sensitive the wheel is to movement so every few minutes I experience some ghost-movement where the page scrolls in a way that I didn't intend it to. Other than the scroll issue the mouse has so much more functionality than any Apple Mouse. Next time I get a mouse I will probably look for one that does not have the Hyper scroll wheel.

Love this mouse so much I bought it twice!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the M705 on my desktop for well over a year and have had no problems. When I needed a mouse for a new laptop, I decided to go with what I know. The extra button on the bottom (thumb activated) is a really handy way to open the task switcher (you can program it to something else if you like) and don't mind that it isn't the easiest thing to do. In fact, I like that about it as it prevents me from constantly opening the task switcher by accident. The fast scroll is as great as it sounds for long web pages/documents and the "clicker" mechanism is as strong as day one with no signs of degradation. My only complaint is that is doesn't have blue tooth (but I knew this going in), if it were to be offered with that option, I would "upgrade" in a heartbeat! All in all, one of the most comfortable, well appointed mouse I've ever used.
