Logitech is so affordable and dependable, you use it for a few years and then just go to BESTBUY and buy a new one. They have so many models and styles available, so just find the one you like and stick with it!

This is a great mouse! it fits perfect in your hand it glides super smooth and the option to scroll giant documents or pages in seconds is fantastic!

I got this for my laptop. I like it as it is easy to use and works on almost any surface. It is also large enough to not get hand cramps.

I would give this 3½ stars if I could. 4 would be too many. I have the "new" version M705 that does not have laser and does not have a 3rd thumb button. Good: • Modest price • Good fit to hand, except for placement of thumb buttons • Scroll wheel selectable detent works well. • Scroll speed is reasonable • Resolution is OK for most any job • Works on nearly any surface. I've tested it on a mouse pad, dark textured ceramic tile, a pot holder, and the living room carpet. Works well on all of them. Amazing. Bad: • Left and right click pressure is way too light. The dead weight of a finger is more than enough for a click. I can't rest my fingers on the buttons – so I have to constantly, consciously, hold my fingers up above the buttons. I don't do that too well and I get all kinds of random right and left clicks on unintended things. A real annoyance. Sadly, I will be shopping for another mouse because this is not usable for me. • The two (sadly, not three) thumb switches are terribly placed. The rear switch is slightly forward of and above the top of my thumb, making the forward switch is a real stretch, nearly useless.

This mouse is quite big when you first purchase it but once you get used to it the material on the mouse is quire nice and easy to hold for long period comfort. This is for right handed people of course since it's contoured to that shape. I would say the best part about this is the battery life, last you forever!

I like how this mouse feels in my hand and it works well. I do wish the on/off button on the bottom stuck out a little further making it easier to move, but it's certainly workable.

Great wireless mouse, super long battery life and great ergonomic feel. Would highly recommend!

Good item good price.had excellent store experience

I have try many mouse and still can't find a wireless mouse that is better than marathon mouse 705 for everyday use and web browsing (with the right combination of shortcut keys). The button placement on this mouse is perfect. There is two thing that this mouse can improve on is adding a couple more buttons and improve the scroll wheel ( it can get jumpy when trying to zoom in on web page.

Bought to replace my wired optical mouse. So far so good. Worse part was online showed the store to have more then 3 before I went to store. Got there and there was only 1 package on the shelf that had been partially opened. Asked an associate for help and you could see the look of disappointment when that was all I was after. Had to buy the open package as it was the last one.

This mouse is fantastic. Ergonomically sound and lasts a long time.

I purchased the Logitech Marathon M705 Wireless Laser Mouse as a replacement for the mouse that came with my iMac. The battery life is excellent, and while I haven’t had it for long, I’m pleased with it — easy installation, accurate, and perfect fit for my hand or my husband’s larger hand. As with all Logitech products I’ve purchased previously, it’s an excellent, reliable product.

Hands down the best mouse for the price. I wanted to buy the magic mouse but couldn't justify paying $80 for it. So I did some research and saw that this mouse could do everything I wanted and the 3 year battery life was a bonus. It has multiple customization buttons that can do what ever you want them to do. All in all its the most bang for your buck.

I love this mouse. It is mandatory to have and easy to connect to any device. I literally dont buy any other mouse

The MX705 is a decent mouse. The battery life is excellent - had it for two months now and the software says the batteries are still at 95% capacity. It seems well on its way to reaching the advertised 3 year battery lifespan. The tiny radio receiver that plugs into a USB port is also handy and convenient. The laser sensor is accurate and works on all surfaces. However, there's a lot about the mouse that should be better. The scroll wheel rocker that allows you to switch from smooth to notched wheel motion is cheap and fragile, it feels like it will be the first thing to break. The buttons on the mouse also click with a limp and fragile feedback. All in all, the mouse feels more like a toy than a device that should last years and years of daily use. The mouse is adequate but Logitech has done better in the past.

When I first held the M705 it felt great . Perfect size and weight, left and right buttons clicked easily, not noisy. BUT, the scroll wheel was too free rolling for me. It also would jump the opposite way a few lines after scrolling. There is a button below the scroll that will change to scroll speed, but it went too far the other way. Too clicky and harder to scroll. I liked the back and forward buttons above the thumb. What really irked me, well, I operate my desktop from my Lazy Boy chair which has rounded armrests. The mouse wouldn't track well unless I tilted it to keep the laser tracking. After a while it got really annoying. The laser is way too far to the side!! I'm going shelve it and use it only an emergency back up. Make sure you look at the bottom of the mouse before buying.
