i lkie this mouse because of the price range i was in....batterys last a long time and it is very light weight

Unfortunately, I'm missing the small item which allows this Logitech -M705 wireless mouse to operate. The cardboard product instructions which were part of the packaging clearly shows drawings of "What's in the box". I've attached a photo for you. The product came with everything except to USB computer port peripheral.

I was intrigued by the 3-year battery life for this mouse. I have used other wireless mice and need to charge batteries every two months or so. It will be nice not to have to worry about batteries for quite a long time. Performance of the mouse is good. However, I have noticed that it does not perform well on light-colored surfaces, such as a piece of blank white paper. I like the ability to switch the scroll wheel from a set number of lines to continuous scrolling with the push of a button. I have some spreadsheets that require significant scrolling from top to bottom. Very easy to click the button, and scroll the wheel and just let it run. Very handy. I've used the two side buttons only for doing page forward and page back on websites, and have not played with the software to reprogram anything. It's a good size for my hand, and the buttons and scroll wheel are easy to press. Overall, I like this mouse very much. I probably would have scored it 5 stars if it worked better on light surfaces.

The USB receiver get stuck in my keyboard never pull it out

I previously owned a similar version that came in an old Logitech Mouse & Keyboard combo pack. Keyboard is going strong but the mouse eventually went kaput. I had it for a while so I wasn't upset and after a temporary cheap mouse that lasted only two months I went looking and came back to this model. Firstly, it's large, which I like for my office use compared to the majority of other options which either feel too small or are marketed (and priced) towards gamers. It's got a decent amount of weight, and I like the ergonomic features of it (don't use if you're left-handed!). The scroll wheel offers the option (via button below it) to click or scroll freely, which I often go between and is helpful when scrolling long web pages or looking through spreadsheets. I also will never get a mouse again that does not contain a side button to go back - helpful when you're in a web browser all day long! The big things to determine if this is right for you are all subjective: size, weight, feel. It's exactly what I want, but it may not be your cup of tea. Only negative? It takes two batteries and the clicks themselves are a bit loud, but bother are minor issues to me. I also had issues with two different types of Logitech software telling me to download the other one as it is incompatible with the mouse. Both ended up working, too. =/ Luckily, I don't need any special adjustments that I can't make in the normal windows mouse settings.

i wanted a high resolution optical mouse that is immune to surface polish and color (i.e. white surfaces) with full size (bigger than the Logitech 325 series) for office work. This one works on any surface, sculpted for right handed use, light enough not to cause fatigue, and easy to click. Also the scroll wheel is effortless.

I was looking for a wireless mouse that I could use with my gaming laptop on-the-go. It is a great mouse, with a few programmable buttons that I can use instead of hot-keys. The fast-roll mouse wheel is great for scrolling through long docs when not gaming and on the 'net. It has a great feel to it and fits my hand perfectly.

My ancient beloved MX 1000 was on its last legs and needed replacement. This seemed like the closest match from the current lineup. I have relatively large hands, and the ambidextrous models are too small. I prefer the sculpted right-handed models. The current higher-level models were overly sculpted for my taste, plus my two fingers on the right side of the mouse tended to slip off. This 705 model fits my hand the way I like, and that's the most important thing to me. Everyone's opinion will differ regarding personal fit, which is why it's best to try them out in person if possible. Beyond that, it functions well enough for me and has just enough buttons. I like gaming, but never use the extra buttons so they only get in the way and cost more. I want a cordless model, even if they don't have the ultimate response times like the corded gaming models. I'm not a competitive player, so I don't care. At current price, it was a great deal for me.

I was using one of these at the office for the last few years. I love the range and the life on the batterys. The things that made me buy another is its a great inexpensive mouse, that I can easily pick up with one hand and has side forward and back buttons. Pairs great with a wired mechanical keyboard, and my parents love it.

This is a fantastic mouse, the battery lasts for YEARS and the custom buttons are excellent. I love the larger size that allows my hand to fit over it nicely. The scroll wheel has a great click feel if you want it or a very fast free wheel. One of the best mice I have ever purchased.

I prefer Logitech wireless mice over all other brands simply because they are fast, smooth, reliable and durable. They are not overly complicated but, rather, offer all the features I need for daily general use without anything extra. You can set the scrolling wheel to move with a discernible click or, with a press of the small button on top, switch to a smooth scrolling experience. The left and right buttons are very responsive. This mouse is a good size for most hands--not too small, not too large. Of course, you can adjust the mouse speed, cursor size and style until you find the right combination for you. Did I mention durable? One of these mice survived a two-story drop down an open stairwell onto a hard tile floor below. Yes, the case popped open, but I was able to close it up again and the mouse still worked! What more could I ask? I highly recommend this mouse.

I have always liked Logitech mice and this one looks like it will be right at home with me. It is very similar to a corded Logitech mouse I use at work. It is nice that it is wireless though. Great feel to it, fits my hand nicely and I definitely like the page back/page forward thumb buttons. After many year with mice that have these two thumb buttons and a scroll wheel I wouldn't back to a more ordinary mouse. If you are not used to using the page back & page forward thumb buttons, now is the time to train yourself to use them. You won't regret it. The USB linking/unifying receiver for the mouse is small enough leave plugged into the side of your laptop if needed. It is also great that it can be stored in the battery compartment of the mouse when you are not needing the mouse - that way it stays with the mouse wherever you move it. Finally, the "On"/"Off" switch on the bottom of the mouse should also be helpful in preserving the battery when not using the mouse.

This mouse is fantastic! I like the feature where you can either work the mouse pointer speed at normal and then if you push the button on top of the mouse, it goes super fast on the web page, if you want! The ergonomic feature is great and the soft to the touch on the side is awesome as well. This is a full size mouse too which is great because I have big hands and those mini mouse devices irritate me to no end. The wireless feature where you can turn it on/off is a cool feature too to save on battery life which I like very much.

Great ergo mouse, easy to switch button order. Long battery life

This is a nice mouse i like how it fits in my hand. The page back and page forward buttons are a nice touch. The page scrolling wheel has 2 settings allowing for slow scrolling or fast scrolling. When you want to get back to top of the page you can unlock the wheel and with one spin zoom back to the top.

The Logitech M705 Wireless Optical Mouse is quite comfortable for my hand, easy to connect to the laptop, and has 5 programmable buttons. It is high quality, easy to use, and works quite well.

The Logitech M705 mouse does everything as advertised. The programmable buttons are handy for repetitive tasks. It fits in your hand and makes using it a long time a great experience. This mouse comes with a battery that should last 3 years. Very accurate and allows you to speed along on webpages or documents.
