We typically program the up/down buttons for volume, and the bottom button by the thumb for mute for easy volume controls.

Not quite as good as I thought

It has a lot of features and works well on normal surfaces such as mouse pads or a desk. My only complaint is it does not work as well as my old M305 which would function on almost any surface. It would even work well on my leather chair arm and cloth chair arm.

The scroll is very smooth, but since there no "clicks" if it is not balanced, it could move and move your PowerPoint (for example) forward or backward.

GREAT MOUSE

After years of hard use, my first M705 started getting erratic, so it was time to retire it. I have tried other mice, but they are either too small, too heavy, or the batteries don't last long. This is the best mouse and I expect years of service from this one too.

I like how it feels in my larger-sized hand and the click of the middle mouse button. Bonus is the long life of the battery even from everyday heavy use. Fast and precise.

Logitech mice have always been my favorite cordless mouse. Multiple programmable buttons on them, smooth wheels, reactive and fits hand great. This mouse is no different. All around great mouse for any purpose.

It alleviates the stress placed on my wrist and thumb from typing on the computer: So far so good! If I find a better one, I will replace it; otherwise- this is the best I have found so far.

Note: You must contact Logitech for the software download to program additional buttons to realize increased functionality advertised.

Responsive and accurate, easy to hold and I’ve even used it to play games streamed from home and its held up well. Great buy!
