Best Mouse Value, Hands Down!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech M705 is just about the best mouse value available for every day use - certainly something to stock up on for birthday gifts or stocking stuffers for the whole family, *especially* when it goes on sale! Second only to the top-of the line Performance MX series for office use, the M705 is perfect for daily use or as a traveling companion; compact in size, but big enough for adult use without cramping. Battery life is so good (Logitech claims up to 3 years!), you'll have a hard time remembering the last time you changed batteries! The Unifying Nano Receiver is small enough to leave connected to a laptop system when slipping it into your travel bag, and can be connected to multiple mouse devices - use the same receiver for your mouse at home, for your mouse at the office, AND for the mouse in your travel bag! BUY THIS MOUSE!

Precise mouse, in a small package and decent price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great full size mouse in a relatively small package. The weight feels just right as well as all the ergonomics. Battery life is great. Adjustable scroll wheel is nice too.

Great Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great mouse. At first I thought the click was a little noisy, but it's not so bad and I like the click. This has a little weight to it (partially because of 2 AA batteries) but I like that. The scroll wheel has two modes that you switch between via the button behind it; one where the scrolling is super loose and spins and spins, and another where it's somewhat loose and the spin dies out in half a second. I like the buttons on the side - they feel better than the Logitech M510 in my opinion. Great mouse, would recommend.

Logitech for Life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Now, I preface this with that I've been a Logitech customer for 15+ years. Whenever I need to replace my mouse and/or keyboard - I ALWAYS go Logitech. I work from home and do a lot of PC gaming - so I think it's safe to say I put a lot of miles on my keyboard and mouse. This mouse has held up for quite some time (and still going) through the click abuse of some of my online gaming. It's perfectly comfortable and ergonomic. However, I think one of its best traits is its battery life. Changing the batteries happens next to never - I might change two Duracells out of this maybe once a year - if that. I can't remember the last time I had to switch the batteries. Overall - a top-notch mouse.

Frustrated older customer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product is excellent. Support is lousy at the Manchester CT store. I inquired on whether this mouse was compatible with my Mac book Air both when I bought it and on a subsequent visit and was told that it was. No mention was made that I needed an adapter to make it work. This was important and necessary information that needs to be communicated to the buyer especially if questions are being asked. It took a call to Logitech support and a return trip to the store to figure stuff out Thanks to Steven at the Manchester store for this assistance and purchase of the adapter from his own pocket. Not necessary but totally appreciated

Like most Logitech device, this is a great mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse fits my hand nicely, although I prefer the slightly larger MX Master. It's very fast and accurate and lasts up to 36 months on a set of batteries! I now have several of these M705 mice and am very pleased with their performance. the rubber tread on the scroll wheel is a very nice touch.

Great Feel & Reliable Performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using a Logitech M705 mouse for five years now with my iMac computer and have been very pleased with it. Though it is still going strong after all these years, I decided to pick up another M705 from Best Buy when it went on sale for half-price. The M705 has ample buttons and each can be assigned any function from an extensive list in the Logitech Control Panel. The M705 has good size & heft and a great feel in your hand -- it is designed to be a desktop mouse and not intended for portable devices. The battery life goes on forever. I have only had to replace the AA batteries once since I first purchased the mouse in 2014. Overall, I highly recommend this Logitech mouse!

So Far, So Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything should work perfectly when new, and this mouse does! It has been delivering extremely well in the weeks I've been using it. It responds exceptionally vis-a-vis tracking, clicking, and scrolling. How long that continues to be the case is the more important consideration. My first Logitech mouse, the Anywhere MX, gave me three years' service; the second (another Anywhere MX) lasted less than a year. [Because I no longer had its receipt (my bad) Logitech would not honor the warranty.] For my third mouse, I went with this one, the Logitech M705, based on the reviews I read. (side note: Best Buy really had the best buy!) So far, the M705 has been excellent. I can't evaluate it's longevity just six weeks out, but I'm hopeful.

Comfortable, but not perfect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse is a nice size for a desktop and fits comfortably in the (right) hand. I like the FWD/BACK browser buttons on the side, easily reached by the thumb with good tactile feedback. But the scroll wheel is a little chintzy - it has a I/O button on top that permits the scroll wheel to move in "clicks" or roll freely (called hyper-scrolling). Unfortunately on day two of use, this button became semi-broken, only working intermittently. Overall, I decided to keep the mouse rather than return it ... and I find it to be reasonably accurate (unless placed on a certain surfaces). The build quality is surprisingly not as "solid" feeling as I expected seeing it in the package, but it's passable. Battery life is not a concern to me, but this seems to have long life based on other reviews.

More than a basic mouse
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mouse works like you would expect a mouse to work so there's not too much exciting to say. It does have some extra features. There's a button near the scroll wheel that changes the scroll wheel setting from "clicky" to almost free-spinning. The free spinning wheel lets you scroll very fast through a long document or whatever, so if you have to do a lot of scrolling, it might be nice to have - we don't use it very much. There's also buttons on the side that apparently change function depending on what you are doing (or so says my gamer son). For my purposes, I have noticed that one of them works like the "back" button on my browser so I don't have to scroll up to the top and actually click the back button, I can just click the mouse button instead. Overall this mouse is comfortable to use. I probably could have gotten by with just a basic mouse but if you do a lot of scrolling or you need the extra buttons for video games, this is the mouse for you!

To mouse, or not to mouse? Yes, for this one!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm liking this new mouse. Sometimes, my "vertical" mouse (from a different company) isn't quite the tool I need, so I'm still sometimes needing a "regular-style" mouse ... and this is a good one. It's a good size, the buttons work well and are customizable (to an extent), and there are two ways to use the wheel (easily switched between). Overall, this is a great mouse!

Defines "Marathon"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second mouse of this model. Although the first one still works, I finally wore it out after about four years. The pointer just isn't 100% accurate anymore even after thorough cleaning. It's now my backup mouse. I use a mouse 8 hours a day, 5 days a week working with text on screen, so I need great accuracy on highlighting and cutting and pasting. This mouse gets dropped, it gets banged, it gets dirty, but these mice keep right on working. And the battery life is truly legendary. I went three years between battery changes on the first mouse and I never, ever, turn it off. Highly recommended.

Nice Mouse
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this along with a Logitech wireless keyboard to take advantage of the Unify feature. It is very comfortable in your hand and easy to use. "As long as you are right handed." On the other hand or left hand I should say it is a different story. My wife hates it as she is left handed! Battery life is reported to be three years. I can't say just yet but I suppose it will be as good as the rest of my wireless devices. Tracking is nice and smooth and the scroll wheel can be set to detent or free spinning for quick scrolling. Overall this is an excellent mouse that I would have no trouble recommending!

Yet another solid product from Logitech
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Logitech has never let me down. This is another example of a quality product that, while not a cheap mouse, still punches above its dollar amount. The mouse is full size(as opposed to some smaller Logitech wireless mice) and has a good feel in the hand. The front/back buttons are great and all buttons are programmable. The mouse wheel click to open a new tab has to be pressed pretty hard, that's my only complaint and a minor one at that. Paired with a Logitech MX wireless keyboard and it doesn't look out of place, but I couldn't justify the cost of the MX mouse.
