Of the preferred brands and models this seemed a good fit for what I do. It does the job, is comfortable and so far the battery use is impressing me.

Great overall

This mouse is great for me - business, just web browsing and the like. I use all the buttons. Compared to the MX, the tracking is a little different, which took some getting used to but it's fine now. And the top button function is different, but that's the one that I didn't use much anyway. All in all, a great vlue for a very good basic mouse. PS - I can't tell the difference in tracking efficacy between this and the darkfield tech. It's always on a mouse pad or the desk so it's just fine

But I am very happy with the Marathon. The clicks are not silent unfortunately, and it doesn't feel quite as nice as the Triathalon, but otherwise it's a great mouse.
