Comfortable mouse w/ some stupid design & support

I guess Logitech expects you to know how their mice work intuitively. Problem is, that doesn't work. Maybe someday I'll actually find out how to program it and find it useful. Until then, the mouse has a pleasant size and shape making for a comfortable fit with an audible "click" for feedback. For everyday use, I like this mouse with one big drawback. The wheel free spins which causes a carry over from one page to the next. For instance, if I'm reading email and spin the wheel to go down the page, find nothing of interest and keyboard to the next email, it will continue to scroll down that page too. I don't know whose dumb idea this was, but it stinks.

Posted .Hi Medrod, Very sorry to hear about your disappointment with the M720 Triathlon Mouse. Hopefully I can smooth out some of that disappointment with some helpful tips. You mentioned that you'd someday find out how to program the mouse, well you most certainly can by using Logitech's Options software. Here's a link for the download: https://download01.logi.com/web/ftp/pub/techsupport/options/Options_7.14.70.exe. Options software lets you customize your device settings. On-board mouse replacement.

Rather than replace the computer, I purchased this WyFy mouse. It works great and I am able to get more use from my existing equipment. It is highly cost-effective and easily installed.

This is just enough for regular mouse users like me. Excellent grip, and I like the fact that it has AA batteries instead of a rechargeable one.

Never the less the mouse has done the trick for me. Also, I like the fact that it runs off of a AA battery instead of having to worry about a rechargeable battery.

Small complaint: wish the side buttons were a little larger (guess I'm used to the buttons on my previous M510), but it may just be me. LOVE the scrolling wheel options.

Very occasionally, the customized buttons stop working when I'm on a mac, but cycling through the three stored bluetooth connections fixes the issue immediately.
