My old one was so bad it took me a little while to adjust to this heightened sensitivity. Ex: Scroll knob can race . Online manual with lots of options to use - I didn’t need anything special and don’t remember details - just remember it seemed somewhat complicated . (I’m a senior who just does basic stuff )

I used through my school days and lasted all the abuse it's been through at various surfaces. After three or so years the left click button got funky and need to trash that for the mx master. Multiple device switching feature is excellent implementation.

Logitech's Unifying receiver is great if you are using multiple Logitech products since you can link them all to a single receiver but it's even nicer to be able to connect via Bluetooth and not have any adapters sticking out of your computer. So far the mouse has performed great. The only thing is that if it is left idle for a while it will go into a low power state which requires a little bit of wiggling before it will reconnect but it's pretty quick and less of a nuisance than dead batteries.
