But i like the button layout on this one when it comes to switching between devices. Makes it much more easier and quicker than picking up the mouse and selecting the device number under it. Id they do that layout with the next master mx mouse that would be my next buy.

I'm displeased with the scroll wheel, in unlocked/free spin mode it will drift randomly. When locked, sometimes it will scroll up a little before scrolling down. Also, after using the Logi Options+ app to configure the pointer speed, it takes it a couple seconds to kick in after every time you're idle for a few minutes. This is jarring because the pointer starts out really slow then jumps back to the configured speed. I was hoping for an improvement over the G603 mouse I replaced with this, but I'm disappointed with the direction Logitech is heading.

The ability to quickly change between up to 3 devices is great. Lastly, the button to change from an indexed wheel to a free spinning scroll wheel is more useful than I thought it would be. It is very helpful to quickly scroll through web pages and documents.

I love being able to switch from my laptop and tablet flawlessly. I minor annoyance I have is that sometimes it will lose connection at full battery, I don't know if that's from the product being faulty or me accidentally dropping it once on the ground. Either way I still love Logitech, I've always counted on their products whenever I need something to last.

LogiOptions software is excellent, being a software developer I tend to use lot of keyboard shortcuts that can now be mapped to buttons on this mouse. Fast scroll is yet another stand out feature. I would rate it as an excellent buy.

I've been using the M705 for years, and recently jumped to the M720 for its bluetooth capability so I can jump between my work PC and my personal MacBook that I keep side by side in my office. Works great, very comfortable - you can't go wrong with this mouse!

This replaces an older Logitech mouse that was having trouble tracking on wood or plastic surfaces. I got tired of having to use a mouse pad. This new mouse works better on ANY surface without any pad at all. Yeah!
