Posted .Hi the MK270 is compatible with Windows OS, Chrome OS, and MacOS. The keyboard and mouse use a USB receiver that needs to be plugged into the desktop/laptop. The USB receiver can be located in the cardboard packing of this combo. I hope you are able to locate the USB receiver and plug it into the desktop/laptop to get the keyboard and mouse to work. Logitech has a support page that you can visit to get some additional information about the MK270 that might give you the right troubleshooting options to make the MK270 work. Visit support.logi.com and search for MK270 to see results related to the mouse ad keyboard. I hope you have found a solution in the meantime.

Thank you for reviewing the Logitech MK270. If you have not already done so, please visit the Logitech support website, and download the Logitech “SetPoint” software for ideal connectivity and customization. You may also want to run the “Connection Utility” software to reestablish a connection if you are still experiencing an issue. I always recommend using the USB slot closest to the mouse and keyboard to ensure the best connectivity, and you may also want to restart your computer after installing new software. I have attached a link to the “Getting Started” page for MK270. The downloads tab contains the relevant software. Please select your operating system from the pull-down tab to reveal the relevant software downloads.

Posted .Hello, the USB piece is a little hard to find in the box. It is in the long cardboard piece holding the keyboard in place inside the box.
