I haven't had any disconnects and the batteries last a long time too. I've had it for about 2 months now, I never turn it off and haven't had to replace them yet.

Last one I had for three years, the batteries finally died, and new ones didn't bring it back to life, so I bought another set. for $40, not a big deal.

The keyboard fits on top of my laptop which is having problems with the shift keys, so the keyboard does the job of the keyboard on the laptop.

It probable won't serve gamers as well as a dedicated gaming set-up. But for everything else on either a desktop or laptop; this works just fine.

The only negative is that the caps lock light on the keyboard is difficult to see if it is on or off. A different color for the light might improve that situation. The mouse and keyboard work great and are a good value.
