That's all I needed - I already had an excellent Logitech mouse: a better mouse in always appreciated so I placed the mouse from this set in storage for emergencies. This keyboard does not come without a mouse, but it is so basic and so inexpensive that it was worth acquiring an unneeded mouse. The keyboard is performing very well, and it doesn't take up a lot of real estate on my desk. If you are looking for something with a different shape/bend or with a lot of bells and whistles, this isn't for you. if you want just the basics, this is perfect.

I was looking to replace my rather large wired keyboard and wired mouse and this combination works perfectly. The keyboard was not that much smaller than the one I replaced, but the fact that it is wireless means I can set it aside and out of the way. The fact that both the keyboard and mouse use the same receiver, means that I freed up one USB port. The mouse is rather small, and the way it is shaped feels like it is backwards. It is thinner at the back end of the mouse, so I am constantly using it upside down at first. They were both plug and play, so they were good to go as soon as I plugged in the receiver. I feel I should mention that I had read previous reviews before I bought mine, so I knew to look for the receiver, which is tucked into a flap on one end of the box. I do see how it would be easy to miss it, if I hadn't seen those reviews.

Logitech MK270 wireless keyboard and mouse

The keyboard has a good feel when typing and isn’t overly large. Mouse is very responsive. Good replacement for my old Logitech keyboard.

Both the mouse and keyboard need batteries to operate and both have on/off switches. The media keys are also a plus. I like being able to adjust the volume or access my email right from the keyboard. Compact setup and good quality for the price.

Great budget level keyboard/mouse combo

The wireless range and battery life are excellent. The keyboard feels nice and typing is easy. The only thing I would say is that the mouse is a little bit on the small side. If you have really big hands it might be too small. Works well with Mac and PC.
