Bought about a month ago. Have changed out the battery twice on the mouse. Have to keep turning the mouse in and off to work. Need to bring back but haven’t. Probably have to get a different one than the one l purchase.

Cheap and frustrating (did not buy from BB)

Not a good product. It will work fine for very short periods but then stops working well throughout the day. I'll type and there's an unacceptable delay from the keyboard and the mouse will delay then jump around. Or if I want to highlight something specific, the mouse will jump around to everywhere but where I want to click. If I have to have the wireless keyboard literally on top of my laptop keyboard, what's the point? I want the keyboard under the monitor, the dongle in the laptop is not far at all and I can hardly get the keyboard any closer to the dongle without being on top of the keyboard. The mouse should not have to be immediately next to the dongle to work either. I have a nicer logitech mouse and keyboard I use at home, and never have these issues. This was a provided keyboard from work, (I did not buy this from Best Buy) I detest it, and it makes for a very frustrating experience.

It excels at typos. Zero tactile response, FLAT

Cheap. Incredibly cheap. So cheap it actually has holes in it. Very light. Its actually so cheap I am afraid to use it too much for fear of breaking it. Of course if it actually worked. I sit 8' from my computer. This keyboard is unable to handle moderate typing with out dropping characters left and right. The delay between typing and showing up on screen can be anywhere from instant to 10 seconds. And its random. I would have preferred a $60-$80 cordless keyboard, however best buy feels the need to only carry $100+ cordless keyboards, and this piece of crap. I havent even bothered to try gaming with it. If it cant handle an E-Mail, a game would be a disaster for it. Back to the Corsair K55 I am typing this on the corsair, cause the logitech can't handle it. Its also an incredibly FLAT key board with zero tactile response. No idea about the mouse except that it appears to be made for a 5 year old kid.

This is a budget device. It feels about as good as a $20 mouse and keyboard wireless combo should so I probably wouldn't spend much more than that. It gets the job done but you won't be rushing home to play on your toys any time soon.

LOGI Product Quality is GETTING WORST!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Logitech quality is getting worst. I have tried 2 different models and they both LAG a lot. After a few minutes or hours of use, the key starts to lag. I believe it cannot work properly if you place the keyboard over 8 feet away from your computer. I feel like they are cutting cost and use a worst wireless technology that won't work well if you have it away over 8 feet. Their old models which has been discontinued worked great for over 10 years but the new models ALL SUCKS! None of the works right when you are using it at a distance. The old model works great even when I have the keyboard over 10 feet away. But the new model is technically has to be used at a short distance like below 5 feet or it will start causing lags. I found a cheap china brand keyboard and that WORKS GREAT! STAY AWAY FROM LOGITECH. Unless if you are using it next to your computer.

    dongle missing, no service

i bought this k270, thinking i need a simple, easy to use combo mouse-keyboard. the dongle was not in box, not in mouse storage, just not there. i never kept receipt of payment ($20..) and tried to purchase dongle alone. endless issues regarding what is correct dongle, local best buy no help whatsoever, ("i'll give you $5 off so buy a new one) too much time wasted on stupid manufacturer mistake. grrrrr!

Hey there RodAng. I'm sorry to hear that your mk270 is disconnecting. It sounds like there could be an issue with the USB port, so try plugging it into a different one, possibly one with fewer obstructions or one that is closer to the keyboard and mouse. -Weston from Logitech

If for some reason you find yourself in a last minute need for a mouse and keyboard or you don't plan on using it often, I would recommend this combo. Definitely not for work or prolonged use in my opinion.

Got this because my other keyboard crapped out. Plugged this in and connected right away. This keyboard is loud and ergonomically trash. Can't type in Windows Sticky Notes for some weird reason. This is a $10 keyboard on a good day.

Hello, natthew, sorry to hear about issues you're having with your MK270. Logitech does have other options of keyboards that offer more silent keys and are more ergonomic, just not in the price range of the MK270. There are some practical ways for you to improve the ergonomics of your keyboard that you can find with a simple Google search. Works intermittently, can't get work done.

This keyboard works for a couple of hours and then it stops or lags. I tried replacing the batteries, I tried moving my phone away from the keyboard to reduce any interference, and downloaded the Logi Options app, which recognizes the mouse, but not the keyboard? The only fix is pulling out the USB and reinserting it, which fixes it for a limited amout of time... until it decides to start working again. I am using an adapter with my Mac because it doesn't have USB ports, which could be causing the problem, but the mouse works fine.

Hi Freelancer. Sorry to see you're having connectivity issues with your MK270 combo. You can try to use the Logitech Connection Utility to reconnect the receiver to the keyboard. Here is the link: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025141574. Hopefully that resolves your issue.

    Regret

I am 4 feet from my computer and the keyboard works half the time. The mouse is only good for driving me nuts. The battery keeps getting loose or there is a short in them. This is the second mouse and keyboard. Both mouse's did the same. I cannot find the model number on it. I would go back to best buy, but i don't want to be assaulted by the loud stereo. Last two times i went in there the loud sound was assaulting to my ears to the point it is the reason i will not go back in there.

Warning Outdated Stock, Do not Buy

Best Buy sell an outdated version of this keyboard. The new version has a unifying remote. The stock at Best Buy DOES NOT support unifying remotes at all. Logitech make good products but be VERY CAREFUL if you buy from Best Buy and double check that the in store version is the latest model.

We bought the Logitech keyboard yesterday and the keyboard is very comfortable to work with, However the left side control key DOESN'T work like the one on the right side, i literally have to press it so hard and that too it helps only half of the time. Going to return it today.

    Don't like at all

My two dislikes are 1) the mouse is simply too small and 2) the markers on the F & J keys are difficult to feel and therefore hard to place your fingers on the correct keys without looking.
