I purchased this because it was compact enough to transport and the full size keyboard makes alphanumeric typing easy to perform. The mouse is slightly smaller than a standard mouse but it fits my medium sized hands well and was easy to use on most surfaces.

What makes it outstanding to me is that it's not draining. It is battery operated but not a product that runs through batteries often. I've experienced other wireless products that require constant battery changing and in almost 1 year of having this product I've only changed the battery once and it's used daily. I love a low maintenance product and if you're looking for one this is it.

This keyboard combo replaced MK320 keyboard combo which died within 3 years. The MK270 seems a little bit more substantial than the MK320, but both look cheap. I hope this keyboard combo lasts longer than 3 years.

Since I was fond of my old keyboard and mouse, I purchased this nominally priced set to go with the old Mac when I passed it on.
