    It is a keyboard - and it works for its intended purpose. I have a wrist rest at the base of the keyboard so I needed one with a small area between the bottom row of keys and the edge of the keyboard. The only complaint I have is the bottom of the keyboard is not straight - it has a little bulge to it, so it doesn't fit flush against the wrist rest and can shift slightly sometimes. But for the price it works well.
