Keyboards great, mouse is kind of junk.

First thing you do, in my opinion, is get a new mouse. Keyboard feels nice, mouse feels cheap. I had a lot of connection issues with the keyboard and mouse. Every now and then the mouse would lose signal and take seconds to come back. That being said, the keyboard would also lag as well. I found a solution to fix this: I purchased another wireless mouse and ran two dongles. One that came for the other mouse and the other that came with the logitech keyboard. Once I did this, both the new mouse and the logitech keyboard responded very well with zero issues. A little ridiculous since I paid $20 for a combo and now it costs me $30 total. Again, this is the issue I had and may not be the case for everyone. I have my keyboard and mouse about 6ft away from the pc tower. Not sure if having the mouse and the keyboard on one usb dongle trying to communicate was causing the slowdown, but with this fix I am enjoying the unit, at least the keyboard. As others have said, the USB donglebis on the inside flap of the box.

Posted .Hello Sauce! I'm sorry to hear you're running into connection issues with the MK270 combo. The other thing you could try is to download our Firmware Update Tool here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035037273 and make sure everything is up to date. Works great

The keys are all in the right places. The keyboard and mouse have a solid feel. It works with Windows 10 and Windows 7 by simply plugging the dongle into a USB port, and installing the batteries. The hotkey I setup on my old keyboard to put the Windows 7 computer to sleep didn't work, but the keyboard has a special key for that purpose that works great with no setup.

Not adequate for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The keyboard and mouse connect very easily and work for normal computer activity well enough, but they are not good enough for gaming play. They often have brief hesitations during play that while short are still long enough to get you killed if in an intense battle situation. Very good wireless mouse and keyboard for everyday use like surfing, typing, controlling your music player of choice, and similar stuff, but do not use these for real-time gaming - you will die.

Overall, I am satisfied with it. The mouse is a little small (I have large hands) but I've gotten used to that. The keys have a good feel and there isn't any time lag between my keyboarding and the response on my monitor. I use it at the same table where my laptop sits so I haven't tested its long-distance capabilities. The volume controls are very helpful. I use my laptop with a headset for phone calls, and being able to adjust the volume right at the keyboard is very convenient. Good basic set for a reasonable price.

I always play music, so the play/pause and volume controls were one of the key selling points. The noise level of the keys is moderate. It's definitely not "loud" in my opinion. I also like that both the keyboard and the mouse have on-off switches so you can easily turn off the power and avoid draining the battery if not using the work station for extended periods of time.
