The computer was slow to respond to either the mouse or the keyboard. I checked all the batteries and the connection/port of nano receiver, but the computer was so unresponsive to the mouse and keyboard that I had to return them.

I didn't get to try it out because I wasn't interested if it wasn't going to work with my existing Unifying receiver components. Logitech support confirmed that it uses a different wireless technology. I returned and purchased the K270 keyboard and it's Unifying receiver compatible. No confusion there...the MK270 keyboard / mouse combo isn't but the K270 keyboard is?

You are indeed correct with noticing that the combo doesn't use a Unifying receiver while the K270 on its own does. I like the design and feel of the keys. Works great and was easy to hook up. Mouse is also very comfortable to use. Best Buy had a great selection to choose from and I am happy I purchased this bundle.

Isn't for those who have carpal tunnel or any wrist issues. This is not well made & for the price should have lasted a year, Disappointed. I'm still using it, but have a small book propping it up. Hard to see the light that lets you know the CAPS are on.
