The mouse however is very small and light - like an inexpensive travel mouse. Might be ok for small hands but uncomfortable for me to use. A mouse upgrade made me realize that the keyboard was not compatible with Logitech unifying USB receivers, either. Given the price and the nice keyboard - I'd recommend it, but with these considerations. If you're not going to be happy with the mouse, get something altogether better.

I am a mechanical keyboard guy, but the k120 always has a special place in my heart. These keyboards are dirt cheap now, and you can tell by the cheap feel. I bought the k120 for about $15 and the k270 for $20. The k270 has volume keys and it is wireless. Essentially, supposed to be the same build as the k120 otherwise. So the k270 feels awful. You get a springy sound and feel to the keys. It is not nice to listen to. On the other hand, the k120 feels solid. No springy cheap sounding mechanics, the keys are sturdy, well spaced, and the feedback sounds amazing. Like a mechanical clacky feel. Buy the k120, trust me. If you want wireless, look into the K375 instead of this one. I have both but every time I try to use the K270, I end up shelving it five minutes later for the k120.

My pc was on the floor and they keyboard would not work at all from my desk. 6 foot usb extender for a few bucks solved the problem. Now the mouse and keyboard run smooth as silk. FYI the keys are clicky type, but not as smooth as a nice gaming keyboard. Worth the $20 bucks 4sure.
