Both the mouse and keyboard have a good feel and are responsive. Even the multimedia keys worked as expected with zero configuration. The only shortcoming is that the keyboard has no backlight, but that would probably kill the battery life, so I consider it an acceptable trade off.

My 11-year-old HP wireless keyboard finally died. I bought two MK270s in case my other old HP desktop keyboard fails too. Has several features I like. Keys take a little time to adjust to.

Amazingly they box included batteries for both devices (1 AA for the mouse, 2 AAA for the keyboard). Worked straight out of the box on our Windows 10 PC. Recommend this combo - Logitech quality.

I spilled water on it and it no longer functioned. I bought another one just like it. I have never opened the second one because once the first one dried it worked perfectly. The caps lock key doesn't have doesn't have an indicator on it light when in use Instead the indicator light is on the far right near the keyboard on/off switch. It is not very well. illuminated The keyboard is not very loud but you can hear the keys clicking.
