Good keyboard and mouse

Some other buyers complained that the USB hub for the keyboard/mouse was hard to find in the box, it's easy to spot in one of the small flaps when you open it up. If the battery life on these is anything like my mouse (identical) used on another computer, it'll last over a year. No lag for either device, and setup was literally plug in the USB and turn on the keyboard/mouse.

Still using the batteries that came with my first one that I bought over a year or so ago. This is my second set. Only odd thing is that on my work computer I have bit locker turned on and it seems that the keyboard needs to be very close to the receiver to enter the password. Like a foot....sometimes. As the OS isn't loaded yet. Sometimes it's fine. Maybe just a quirk of that Dell PC?

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My PC was acting VERY Odd,I called Geek Squad & we were unable to rectify the problem,So grasping @ straws I decided to replace my aged Backlit keyboard.Bingo,,,problem solved.But not wanting to spend alot to replace a keyboard I wasn't sure needed replacing,I purchased this one ,Not backlit.The keyboard works GREAT,so the issue isn't the keyboard,I miss my backlit board. But am going to stick w/ this one for a while as it does work seamlessly.

great keyboards

I have 2 on computers now and bought them for my wife and daughter. I have so many that I use stickers to match the mouse and keyboard so I know which is which.

I hooked an older computer up to my TV and wanted to be able to use it from various parts of the room. It's a small room so I haven't really tested the range, but I suspect most people don't push the range on a keyboard and mouse too much either. I recently upgraded my primary keyboard from one that came with a computer 10 years ago to a gaming keyboard. That's been a questionable transition, but this one feels nice and familiar. The mouse is very light and the cats knock it off the table when I leave it unattended, but that's what cats do.
