I really didn't like the way the number keys were layed out on the HP and it seemed to be cheaply made. This one is very much better and the price was reasonable.

I haven't had any disconnects and the batteries last a long time too. I've had it for about 2 months now, I never turn it off and haven't had to replace them yet.

The first time, both the keyboard and mouse worked well for about 8 months. Then, the keyboard just stopped working. I tried everything, including changing the batteries, reconnecting the USB dongle, etc. It simply would not turn on. (The mouse continued to work fine.) Thinking I must have just received a lemon, I purchased another of the same set the next year. SAME THING HAPPENED - the keyboard simply stopped working one day. It was not the batteries or anything else (as before, the mouse was still working fine). I'm generally a fan of Logitech products, but this keyboard is not worth two cents.
