I like the newer models with the unifying receiver, that's super nice as you can easily pop off the battery cover (newer feature) and insert it into the mouse. The receiver is also small enough to leave in your laptop! I like the additional functions on the keyboard and Logitech has an amazing warranty if you ever have any issues.

I think Logi is a highly reliable name brand. Also the buying process at Best Buy went really smooth for a brand new stranger to the store.
