In regards to having no caps lock or num lock light, there is a way for you to get on-screen notifications and that's via Logitech's Options software.     Purchased for my surface tablet. Really make it a lot more convenient than the original keyboard that I purchased with it. Just remember to turn them off when not in use, makes the batteries last longer
