I do like this keyboard and mouse. It’s much smaller than my last one, but don’t mind it. Tyler only thing is that I have one key that makes a loud click sound. I haven’t had it long at all so disappointed it has an issue already. But it’ll work for me because I don’t use it often.

The Logitech MK470 slim wireless mouse and keyboard combo comes in handy if you are on the go and don’t have a lot of extra space in your backpack or travel bag. There is one small unifying receiver that you need to plug into a USB type A slot and all my computers and chrome books recognized both devices right after I plugged in the receiver. Typing on the keyboard takes a little getting used to when you are coming from a windows-based keyboard. They travel on the keys is very minimal and is very quiet to type on as well. Actually, the mouse has very quiet clicks as well and this is one of the advertised features of it, Logitech calls it “whisper-quiet” and they are telling the truth here. The travel on the mouse buttons is small as well and it also takes some getting used to. Overall the mouse is not tall enough to fit comfortably in my hands and I find that after a few minutes of constant use, I find myself having to stretch out my hand a bit from how uncomfortable the mouse is. I wish it was slightly taller and more ergonomic verses being an ambidextrous design. I was planning on using this combo to replace my awful dell set up at work, but the mouse prevents me from this. I will be using the keyboard and I do find that to be pleasing to use. Logitech advertises that the battery life is 36 months on the keyboard and 18 months for the mouse and they have a sleep feature to help reach those longevity goals. In my opinion and experience with Logitech products, they do last at least as long as advertised. The keyboard does not have any lights on it and its difficult to tell if you have CAPS lock on or Num lock on. I do enjoy the 10-key addition on the keyboard and still keep the design small for the limited amount of space that I have on my desk. For the price, you cannot go wrong with this keyboard/mouse combo and it does exactly what you need it to do.
Pros:
Compact design
Quiet keystrokes and mouse clicks
Well-built and sleek design
Long battery life
FN + F keys work well natively
One nano receiver for both devices
Price
Cons:
Mouse is not very comfortable to use
No lights on keyboard for Num lock/Caps Lock, etc.
The keyboard is slow and doesn’t work for mosttime

The mouse seems to be working fine but the keyboard will frustrate you, it’s so slow and most times literally don’t work. Work isn’t giving me the time to return it. I wish I only bought a mouse and just used my laptop keyboard.

Keyboard/mouse combo requires only one USB port

After some years using the Logitech K400r wireless keyboard to control the computer in my home theater, I decided to try the MK470 for three reasons. First, the MK470 was advertised as a "slim wireless mouse and keyboard combo." Here are some actual statements from Logitech's Marketing Director, "ultra-thin, design-forward keyboard" and "Modern slim design: Elevate your workspace with a slim-profile keyboard and comfortable ambidextrous mouse in a modern, minimalist design." Slim sounded good to me because I do not have a lot of room for storing a computer keyboard in my home theater cabinet. Second, I found that the trackpad on the older K400r was not as easy to use and as responsive as I had hoped, so I ended up using a separate mouse, which meant filling two USB ports in my HTPC. The newer MK470 promised control from the keyboard and mouse with only one USB receiver, which would free up a USB port. Third, newer often means better, so I wanted to see how the newer MK470 performed.
As for "slimness," the MK470 keyboard does look sleek and nice. However, it is actually a little bit wider than the K400r because it has a full numeric keypad in place of the trackpad (see photo). In fact, when I tried to place it where I usually keep the computer keyboard in my home theater cabinet, I could not close the sliding cabinet door (see other picture)! Fortunately I was able to fit it into the cabinet in another orientation. I finally realized that "slim" referred more to the thickness of the keyboard rather than its overall size. The keyboard itself is indeed slimmer than the typical keyboard although the very top has to be as thick as the installed AAA batteries. The mouse is also slimmer (flatter) than the typical mouse. It therefore felt a little different—not better, not worse—than a typical mouse.
The unified use of one USB receiver worked very well for me. Nothing special was required for setup—I simply plugged in the USB receiver and the keyboard and mouse worked immediately. I did download the suggested Logitech Options software (I had to go look up my Logitech userid and password to do this). The software contains the usual kinds of options for keyboard and mice like remapping function keys (you can do this for F1-F4), disabling keys, and changing the speed and scrolling features of the mouse.
I was a bit perplexed at first that the keyboard had no indicator lights to indicate whether the caps lock or num lock were switched on. Eventually I discovered that when you hit one of these keys a message comes up briefly on your monitor to indicate that these were switched on or off. That's fine I guess if you are paying close attention to your screen, but you might miss this if you are not. I was also surprised to see no Print Screen key on the keyboard. Then I realized that the F12 function key with a little camera icon performed that function. I wonder if this key behaves differently if you have a camera attached to your computer. Some things simply have to be discovered with this keyboard as there is no written manual that comes with it.
Overall, is newer better? Maybe a little. The action of the keys on the keyboard feels great and the keys are super-quiet. There is no need to turn off the devices because they go into sleep-mode when not in use. The literature claims that the mouse can go for 18 months and the keyboard, 36 months, before requiring a battery change. That's great. And the keyboard is slim enough to throw into your laptop bag if that is the way you want to use the keyboard. It would have been great if this combo also had a Bluetooth option in addition to the wireless USB option like my Logitech Anywhere mouse, because my laptop has only one USB A port. But that simply not how they were designed, so I will be using this with my HTPC and not my laptop. If you want a Bluetooth keyboard, you'll have to get something else. But this keyboard and mouse combo works just fine through 2.4 GHz wireless.

So you're looking for replacement keyboard and mouse? I can say, you have to look no further. you've found your set in the Logitech - MK470 Slim Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo. Out of the box there's not much you're going to receive, just Keyboard, Mouse, unifying receiver and batteries.
The keyboard feels great, if you're use to the other logitech slimline keyboards, this will be exactly the same and if you're an apple user this will feel like the Mac-book pro and air keyboards. If you're looking for a modern style keyboard this is definitely it. The only issue is the muscle memory of typing on a fullsize keyboard. This is slim and compact design so you'll try to use a special key or the arrow keys and you'll then realize it's not your old keyboard but once you get use to it, no issues.
Now on to aesthetics, the keyboard and mouse combo looks good really modern look but also a little plastic...y. Not in a bad way, right were the compartment for the batteries and receiver are stored , looks a little flimsy. The battery compartment is at the top so you don't have to flip over the keyboard to put in new batteries. If you need a little shortage area for your pens or pencils you have space there too.
Leading up to switching to this keyboard I had two brand gaming keyboards and a slim keyboard. I"m also not a Logitech fanboy by any means but I can say I really like this simple yet functional keyboard and mouse set. All the important functions like calculator, volume and music control shortcuts are on the keyboard. I would highly recommend checking out this keyboard.

---SETUP---
The setup for this MK470 Slim Wireless mouse and keyboard combo is quick. The batteries are preinstalled on both products with a plastic tab in place to prevent battery drain before purchase. The mouse uses 1 AA battery and keyboard uses 2 AAA batteries. One USB receiver (2.4 GHz) is included that reads both, the mouse and keyboard. After plugging the receiver, you’re ready to go in less than a minute.
---FEATURES---
The key feature of this keyboard / mouse combo is their slim profile. The keyboard itself is thinner than an Expo marker and the mouse is just a tad bit taller. The keyboard boasts 18 months of battery use while the mouse can go for 36 months, thanks to the auto-sleep function of each. The key strokes on the keyboard are silent and have 15 F-keys for shortcuts like pausing music or lowering the volume. Both, the mouse and the keyboard can be used to store the USB receiver for storage or travel to avoid losing it.
---PERFORMANCE---
The performance of the keyboard and mouse are great. I tested them on Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office, and general web browsing. I am a teacher who shares a classroom with another teacher while they teach. The quieter keyboard made my co-worker remark that he didn’t hear me typing like my previous keyboard. Both the mouse and the keyboard never lost wireless signal. When the computer went to sleep, I was able to wake it with a mouse wiggle.
---EXPECTATIONS---
The product meets my expectations. However, I found that the keyboard could have benefited from a little more height from the backside. The arrow keys are too close together and I sometimes accidentally press ‘shift’ when trying to press the ‘up’ arrow. The mouse glides with ease but I would recommend using it on a mouse pad as opposed to a glass or wooden surfaced desk. The CTRL, FN, and ALT keys are positioned just right for those who do a lot of copying and pasting. The number pad is fully sized and works like a charm in Sheets or Excel.
---VALUE---
The price for this keyboard / mouse combo is great if you’re looking to replace an old mouse and keyboard or if you want to upgrade to a reliable wireless combo without fancy bells and whistles.
---APPROVAL---
I highly recommend this product for people who want more desk space and the freedom from wires. Also, if you travel and connect to various PCs, these can be your travel companions.

Once the nano receiver is plugged into a USB port it provided great range for both the mouse and keyboard.
** I see using this for conference rooms where the PC or laptop is used to drive a larger monitor or projector.
I placed the keyboard on top of my 15 inch laptop and began typing. Smooth and natural locations of the keys made typing easy without the clickety clack of the keyboard. The number pad on the right is a must for me since I also tested the combo with my Autodesk Inventor CAD program (as well as this review).
What I find helpful:
+ full size keys , F1 through F12 function keys on top row, ESC key top most left.
+ Natural feel of keys with great tactile feedback
+ thin and light, easy to pack in my computer bag
+ sits nicely on my desk, wireless of course!
+ see photos: NANO receiver can be stored safely under the grey battery cover on the keyboard
+ Keyboard uses 2 AAA batteries and the mouse one, they say it will last a long time
+ the mouse has a real on/off switch
I did find the mouse rather thin and took a while to get accustomed to, since most of my other logitech mice are a lot taller, But after a while no real concern. But, still find the right click a bit unnatural. because I need to grip the thin mouse body with my thumb and fourth finger. (Could be my larger hands).
Center Wheel and mouse wheel-click works great. Glides easily and really tracked accurately on fabric or plastic (formica) surfaces.
As a set they are a good choice for every day use or super for on the go.

Logitech MK470 Full-size Wireless Product Review.

The Logitech MK470 Full-size Wireless Scissor Keyboard and Mouse Bundle for Windows is a compact and efficient peripheral combination that offers a comfortable typing and navigation experience. As a user who has been using this keyboard and mouse set for a few weeks, I am pleased to share my impressions and overall satisfaction with this product.
Starting with the design, Logitech has done an excellent job in creating a sleek and minimalist look for the MK470 bundle. The full-size keyboard features low-profile keys with a scissor-switch mechanism, providing a satisfying typing experience with minimal noise. The slim and lightweight design not only saves space on my desk but also makes it highly portable for on-the-go use.
Setting up the wireless connection was a breeze. The MK470 bundle uses a single USB receiver for both the keyboard and mouse, which is a convenient feature. Once plugged in, the connection was established quickly without any signal dropouts or lag. The wireless range is also impressive, allowing me to work comfortably from a distance without any connectivity issues.
In terms of performance, the keyboard offers a responsive and accurate typing experience. The keys have a good amount of travel and tactile feedback, making it easy to type for extended periods without fatigue. The scissor-switch mechanism provides a satisfying balance between key stability and quiet operation. Additionally, the keyboard layout is standard and familiar, ensuring a seamless transition for users accustomed to traditional keyboards.
The mouse included in the bundle is comfortable to hold and use, with an ergonomic shape that fits well in hand. It glides smoothly on various surfaces, thanks to its optical sensor. The mouse buttons are clicky and responsive, providing a pleasant clicking experience.
Another noteworthy feature of the MK470 bundle is its exceptional battery life. Logitech claims up to 18 months of battery life for the keyboard and 12 months for the mouse. While I haven't used it for that long yet, the battery indicator shows no signs of depletion, and I appreciate not having to worry about frequent battery replacements.
One minor drawback of the MK470 bundle is the absence of backlighting on the keyboard. While it may not be essential for everyone, it could have been a useful feature for those who often work in low-light environments. However, given its affordable price point, this can be overlooked considering the overall quality and performance of the product.
In conclusion, the Logitech MK470 Full-size Wireless Scissor Keyboard and Mouse Bundle for Windows is an excellent choice for users seeking a compact, wireless, and reliable input solution. It combines a sleek design, comfortable typing experience, responsive mouse, and long battery life. Whether for productivity or casual use, this bundle delivers on its promises and represents great value for money.

The Logitech - MK470 Slim Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Combo - Black/Gray is a minimalist's dream for those who want the feel and look of a MacBook keyboard with a full 10-key option. Sleek, low-profile, easy touch, responsive, and clean for any office or home computer desk. The mouse adds to the clean and minimal look by partnering visually with the keyboard well.
I found the keyboard to be a nice change of pace for me as I use a MacBook Pro at home, but a PC at work. PC keyboards are notorious for being tall and long-pressing keys compared to the nearly flat keyboards of the Mac. This keyboard is a perfect change of pace for me as it gives me the feeling I am comfortable within my office. It is fast, responsive, and easy to use immediately. I am not a fan of the grey battery cover. I think that black would have been a better choice.
The mouse is nice looking and sleek, partnering with the keyboard well visually. Completely black, no grey, this mouse is fast, responsive, and precise. The scroll wheel is larger than others, but feels good and is easy to use. My biggest issue with the mouse is that in the effort to keep the sleek, minimal look, the mouse just feels awkward in my hand. I am used to a full ergonomic gaming mouse, which is molded to fit the hand. This mouse feels dainty and doesn't fit the hand, so you have to rest your hand on the surface. I can see some hand/wrist fatigue after a longer period of use.
PROS
- Logitec Quality and Design
- Clean, Sleek, Minimalistic
- Fast, Responsive, Precision
- Nano USB dongle
- Exceptional battery life. The manufacturer claims up to 18-months for the mouse and up to 36-months for the keyboard (no real way to test this)
- Ultra-quiet mouse (no clicking sound)
CONS
- The mouse is not comfortable compared to a full-size ergonomic counterpart
- Not a fan of the grey battery cover on the keyboard as it is the entire length of the keyboard and has a shiny part that reflects light.

The keyboard feels surprisingly solid for the price point. The keys have a clean, responsive click—none of that mushy, cheap-feeling feedback you get from bargain boards. Typing on it feels fast, accurate, and smooth, like something you’d expect from a higher-end setup. And the layout? Classic, full-size, predictable. No weird key placements, no awkward spacing—just the standard format everyone grew up on. You can tell Logitech understood the assignment: keep it traditional, keep it simple, keep it productive.
Wireless performance is rock steady and battery life is basically a flex. The mouse is even good and is comfortable to use 40 hours a week. Great purchase!
Thanks for sharing your experience—it’s always a pleasure to hear from happy customers. We’re delighted that our product is serving you well and making a difference in your day-to-day routine. We appreciate your trust in Logitech.
